LOL, Jacquetta, I can't stop laughing at Robin's interpretation of your island drawing!
We need to send him some dancing crabs and fish so he can make a video.  It's weird seeing that as a real photo, seeing you make that idea into a drawing was epic enough! You really do need to draw Mr. Robin's Neighbourhood now. I'd try, but it would not turn out good at all, probably. Also, the centaur... hmmm, what else am I forgetting?

I'm trying to remember how that even came about. I think it started with the topic of what Robin would bring to an island if he knew he was going to be stranded there alone and could only bring a few things. Somehow that evolved into Robin making friends with the island animals, playing and singing for them, etc. I don't remember exactly; it's a blur to me.
The photo is just so endearing. I love that he actually used coconuts. I can just imagine him running around his house, gathering the items and setting them up... he gets a special gold star sticker for this one! I just realized, I did not post Finckasaurus here. So, for those who do not follow my Twitter, behold the doodley-doo:

Jodi pretty well summed it up. We were playing the "What if Robin...*insert some weird hypothetical scenario here*" game. We determined that even though it's a deserted island, he would never get lonely because he would befriend the animals.
It's incredibly surreal & endlessly flattering to see my sketch come to life. Completely caught me off-guard. For those of you whom are slightly confused about the randomness of his photo, this may have played a part:

And thanx for the explanation, it was getting a little confusing to read references to things that got posted elsewhere and that only a few members seemed to know about. (just for the record, I stopped using Twitter sometime in October so I had no clue on the drawing you were talking about).
This is a message to anyone who thinks Robin doesn't communicate with his fans: you're wrong so quit using this so called 'fact' as an argument to fuel your hatred . Picture time now. I found those 2 on FB and I believe some of you have already seen them, however I don't think they've been reposted here:

Hello people!
I figured this would be the best thread to ask. Does anyone have some good links to Robin's artwork? I won one of the guitars in the auction (the red LP), and he included a smaller (3x5ish) ink drawing of an angel. I could have sworn I saw something similar like this from him before, but I can't find it anywhere. I scanned this thread, but it's too long so I didn't do every page! | |

^ There really isn't much of an archive for Robin's artwork. Hopefully when his site goes back up, you'll find what you're looking for.
^ This looks like the climax of a religious ceremony of some sort.
