Mmmmm I luv absinthe! I've only had it the traditional way, it's a tad strong on the licorice taste, so I use an extra sugar cube. It hits me hard, but I've never had any problems with it. The green fairy thing is just a myth, and the legal absinthe now-a-days is made differently, to my understanding. I wouldn't be afraid of it.

^^I've heard the real stuff still does .. over there in Europe, where it's still legal.

well they sell the legal weaker stuff in the us now. its a little weaker but still effective. I just havent broken into it yet, havent had the opportunity......

well kiddos, i felt fine going to work the next morning...but then my rib started acting up and ruined my day.


oh wait, you guys have no clue what im talking about. I did something to my rib about four weeks ago. I felt a slight pop, but didnt think twice about it, since my various joints and things pop every day.

So i went on about my business. Then, a week later, it started to feel kinda sore. Its the place directly under my right boob, that lays on top of that first top rib. That space there. I guess where tissue connects the breast bone with the top rib.

So, i didnt think twice about it. I figured i had just maybe pulled something and it wasno big deal.

Then, a week after that, it started to hurt. I said fuck, this kinda hurts. Maybe i'll have my bf (who was an ARMY medic) and my nurse friend (she's an experienced nurse and her husband a doctor) look at it, for free ya know. They suggested that i mildly have ripped the tissue between my ribs. Ok, whatevs.

Then a week after that, its almost excrutiating. All the time. Never stops. Pain meds just kinda make it hurt less. I cant lay on my right side, and i have to get the bf to help my up outta bed in the a.m. Sitting hurts, laying hurts, getting up is exhausting and severely painful. So finally i go to the doctor and pay money lol.

They put me in a room right in front of his office where his nurses kinda hang out and do charts and shit. So i can hear them say that the xray machine will down until after lunch (its like 1130 at this point- they go to lunch from 1200 to 200 everyday) and that theyre not gonna xray me. I can hear this through my fucking door. Then the dr comes in and basically says theres no point in xraying me because even if it is cracked or broken theres really nothing that they can do, but give me meds and wait on it to heal. He suggests the same thing the bf and nurse friend said, that i have torn the tissue and cartilage between my breastbone and rib, gives me some pain meds and tells me that if it hurts worse by friday (this was tuesday) to come back and then they would xray it.

How about instead of flat out LYING to me, just tell me your xray machine is down, douchebag.

So i really have no fucking clue what is going on with my rib situation. And it hurts like mad.

Yeah it still hurts, but im kinda just getting used to it. Now im just like Fuck it, it hurts.

And im out of my prescription painpills. Well, the ones i can take and still function. i have plenty of the ones that will cause me to fuck a door knob, confess my love to the microwave, then pass out.

but those i cant really use at work so much.

nothing much...im waiting on some laundry to finish drying so i can go to bed lol...i do have to go work in the am.

nothing much has been going on....omg, but i did see a guy in books a million today that almost made me squeal like a little girl....he looked EXACTLY like Gaius Baltar from BSG!!!! He couldve been his TWIN!!!! Hair, face, SUIT, height EVERYTHING....but no accent So i know it wasnt the guy who plays him lol....but it was so nice...i wanted to go up to the guy and be like "i'll give you all of the money in my bank account if you call me Six and let me have your lovechild.".

Oh i definitely love Baltar shaved with long slicked back hair, skinny suit, glasses, wide, cocky, power hungry eyes...i absolutely melt.
