That's true. You want to be with someone who wants to be with you and who will be your equal a give as much as you will. You Reached an impasse with this guy. Maybe you can still be good friends if it's not painful for you. I wish you the best in your love life. There are millions of guys out there, never limit yourself. And you're so young! Hooray for Memorial Weekend, yay! I'm all excited to go up to the lake for a couple days.
And I was up in northern Wisconsin earlier this week, which was lovely. My uncle and I sat in the boat and watched a bald eagle fishing...pretty darn cool.
Anyone have exciting plans for the weekend? |

And Keith-- I didn't do anything too exciting. Hung out with my sisters Friday night. We watched Percy Jackson, which was surprisingly good for a kids' movie, lol.
Then Sat morning I drove up to the lake to see all of my dad's family. Over the course of Sat/Sun, I got to see more fam than I'd seen in years!! Which was quite wonderful, since I really am close to my extended family. Got a bit drunk with my grandpa, uncle, uncle's gf, and cousin Saturday night. That was fun.
Monday back to my mom's mom's house (where I've been staying), and all my mom's fam came over. It was the one-year anniversary of my grandpa (who, as previously stated, I was extremely close to) dying, but no one said one word about it...kind of really awkward.
Trying to get over everything with Navy guy. :-\ This is time #3 getting over him, fyi. Haven't really heard from him since I left over 2 weeks ago. (Aaaand this is why I don't sleep with guys right away, even ones I really like, ahem.) I've been all sorts of emotional about it. No worries-- I am going down to my college town tomorrow night and plan on getting drunk and making bad decisions, lol.
Also dealing with it via job searches and grad school research. That's making me pretty excited.
Off to go swimming with my cousin now... |
