Interestingly enough, that's one of the few phrases I know in French.

Thanks Rhett. grinning smiley I'm working on a great one, as of now.

Also...eating breakfast this morning, watching CNN, "horrible storms on the east coast..." What clip do they show next? My hometown in Indiana. Luckily, my family's okay, though my mom, grandma, and sisters were trapped at Target for several hours because of tornadoes. My uncle was caught driving when it hit, and he was trying to get into a gas station or business for cover, but everyone had locked their doors and wouldn't let him in. :-\ Needless to say, I'm happy everyone's okay. Freaked out isn't how I like to start my day. ><

And, the CO fires are raging, but luckily, for now, they're all pretty far from me. Here's to hoping they're under control soon...I do have a lot of friends who are dislocated because of them. :-\

Hooray for nobody being in real danger!

We got hit pretty hard here. There are piles of debris where houses used to be, holes where trees used to be and all kinds of horrible stuff like that. We got hit by some flying bits of trees, but luckily our house is still standing, although we've been out of power for thirty-eight hours now, and probably won't have it back for a few more days at best.

I'm glad your family's okay and I hope you're doing well, yourself, my wonderful friend smiling smiley

A big "AWWWWWWWWWWWWW YEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" for your achievement.

Don't wreck the thing while he's gone tongue sticking out smiley

07/04/12 3:01 PM

Thanks guys. grinning smiley

Also, looks like it's 98% official...unless something tragic wrecks this plan, I'm moving to Seattle at the end of September. grinning smiley Wish me luck, lol. And if any of you know of any jobs....you let me know. winking smiley

07/04/12 4:21 PM

Of course, I'll wish you luck! DUH!!!!!

07/04/12 4:22 PM

Congratulations, Panda! Good luck with the ongoing job hunt smiling smiley

07/06/12 7:48 AM

You can hang with Suge and Kimmeh in Seattle. But beware buttsecks is always on the menu up there....tongue sticking out smiley
I would take advantage of it!!!
You're not going to turn into a hipster up there are you?

07/06/12 4:46 PM

Ha! I'm already part hipster. Not in how I dress, but definitely some personality quirks. >< I try to keep that fairly hidden though. winking smiley

And yeah, I *JUST* realized they live up there!!! Kinda exciting... grinning smiley

07/07/12 11:22 AM

You're moving even farther away, and that makes me sad sad smiley But I'm still happy and excited for you smiling smiley

07/07/12 9:38 PM

Aw! Well thanks, heh. smiling smiley And yeah, I can't imagine my family is too thrilled, either. :-\

Also...WHY THE HELL DO CRITTERS KEEP GETTING INTO MY HOUSE??? We had a field mouse last fall, and the last couple weeks my roommate and I keep spotting a stupid ground squirrel running around. Only in the kitchen/living room, and I'm going to pretend that's the only place he goes. I'm going to see if management will put a trap out. Only downfall is, I REALLY don't think I could check/empty the trap...ugh. He scared the poo out of me just now when I was filling my water bottle. Sigh.

07/07/12 11:32 PM

Better that than a scorpion or a rattlesnake. None of these have ever happened to me but they have happened to friends. D:

07/08/12 6:49 AM

So true, yikes.

Or cockroaches. Yuck. My dad had those in Memphis.

07/08/12 1:22 PM

Mice love our garage, chipmunks and more mice love our attic and we've had lizards in the house dozens of times. These things just happen.

So are you getting excited for your big move?

07/08/12 3:05 PM

Lizards!! Goodness. Those little lizards are cute, but I don't know if I'd want one around my house, haha...

And YES SO EXCITED!!! I'm a little worried about the friend I'm supposed to live with (long story I might explain when I have a little more time), because if she does something goofy it'll throw a whole big kink into everything. I certainly don't have the money to move on my own; that's for sure.

But yes so excited. smiling smiley While I personally don't know anyone in that area currently, I have lots of connections, so I've kindly asked everyone to put their feelers out for jobs and such.

I've also been doing lots of research/work for grad school (so that I can apply this summer/fall, to hopefully attend in the fall of 2013). That's keeping me excited too. smiling smiley

And lots of hiking/biking/running/yoga, which is nice too. smiling smiley I do love living here. Everyone should visit the place in CO I'm currently living. smiling smiley (Summit County.)

Happy Tesla Day. smiling smiley Worth reading.

That was so geeky/nerdy and I loved it. Marry me, please?

BTW, I did know Tesla was the father of the transistor (I did a PowerPoint presentation on the history of the central processing unit of a computer last semester).

YAY!!! Sounds awesome. Good thing end of September because I may do another cross country road trip around then. If you're still in CO early Sept I'll try and stop by again :]
