I think you misunderstood the intended tone of the post. Yes, it pissed me off for a little while, but we were able to laugh about it and get on with our night. And we apologized to each other (him for the picture, me for the face-slap), shook hands, had a bro-hug, and it's all good now. He gives me a lot of (good natured) shit, but he really does respect me as a musician and friend in his own weird way Besides, he made me laugh so hard I almost pissed my pants. Picture it...
We were up playing a set with our friend Dave on bass. We finish a song, and Pat notices me behind him trying to fix my wallpaper, so he steps up to the mic and announces to the room what he did. Everyone laughs and I give him a playful middle finger. After the next song, he introduces everyone on stage and ends up referring to me as "Keith 'I don't like testicles on my phone' Dietrich". I have to admit, I thought it was funny as hell

In other news, I'm getting nervous about Friday again. Amanda let me know that I'm going to have to meet her parents before our date actually starts. Normally I would be fine with that, but she started asking me all the exact questions I didn't want to have to answer so she could have something to tell them... Now I'm afraid that they'll disapprove of me before they even have a chance to meet me. I'm also afraid that I've lost major points with Amanda herself because of everything she found out. She says she's still interested, but I'm still afraid that maybe she's being nice and trying to hide the fact that she thinks I'm a loser now.
I know, I know, I'm worrying too much about everything. But really, if you were in the same situation I am, wouldn't you be terrified of the same things, too?

And yes, I'm probably going to have to go to Delaware this weekend. But just for one day to visit Mom-Mom.

As for the hair... It's so dramatically different for me that it's going to take a while for me to get used to. I also have to play with it and see what style works best for me. I wasn't thrilled with it yesterday, but that's probably because it was really wavy and the stuff the girl used made it stiff and crusty, and I hate that. I was embarrassed to have Amanda touch it later, actually. If we can see eachother today, I'm hoping I can make it much more pleasant to the look and touch

She told me she was going to make me look like Joe Perry, so I was like, GREAT! Then after she's done she's telling me I look just like Ben Folds... Not quite sure how to feel about that one... So what the fuck happened to Joe Perry? Oh well. If I don't like it, it'll grow out again eventually

Like you say, It's a problem when you cut your hair because you are 90% agree with what they did only a few times (in your life). I never go to do my hair but the times I decided to cut my hair off or colored it I always felt embarrased with the result, and it's very frustrating. I remember when I got it curled, when I came home and looked myself in the mirror I was like "Omg! I'm Tina Turner!" and I washed it away u.u If it would have happened nowdays it would be a cool hair style, but not for a teenage girl in the middle of 90's!

Immigrant song wasn't on the sampler, I just found it on YouTube. But I still have the sampler and I'm listening to it again now

I was looking forward to seeing you with red hair, but I completely sympathize with the whole maintaining aspect of it. When I had my hair black, I would start to get brown roots after only about a week or so, so I would have to fix it again very quickly. But I've been considering doing it again since yesterday morning... But I'm not sure yet.

I haven't heard from Amanda yet, so I don't know if I'm seeing her tonight or not, and I know I'm not going to Delaware tomorrow. It wasn't going to be a fun trip, anyway. I mean, it was going to be less fun than usual

It's a 10 footer and the bitch is wide. I have to go out of my way to walk around her. I also realized my new dream today (other than seeing all my favorite bands in concert) living in a place where it actually snows in winter. I guess this involves moving out of state. But there won't be any love lost there. I hate California.

So I just learned this morning that The Blues buckets are going to play another Open Mic type of thing tomorrow night. It's this big thing put together by the local Blues Society, and Lord knows we need to get in good with them. If we want to make it any farther than we have on our own, we'll need their help and support.
Then we've got our "real" gig on Saturday, which I'm really looking forward to. This is a great place to play (at least now it is... It used to be terrible), and we haven't been there in months. Also, Amanda is planning to come out I really hope she can make it
