No, the bandana is permanently connected to his head. Even when he dies and they perform an autopsy the bandana will still be one because that's just how awesome Al is.

08/19/09 11:44 PM

if you take the bandana off you'll pull out his brains..

08/19/09 11:56 PM

does he have the same condition as brett michaels?

08/20/09 2:08 AM

anyone seen that vid of him talking shit about Trent? sad smiley

08/20/09 2:14 AM

^ I think I did.. is it where he says trent was the most miserable guy he'd ever met?

08/20/09 2:46 AM

al is cool, and that's why revco and all with Trent productions will be doing more on t.v / movie productions . A lot goes into the music on set design,,, think about the wicked lake,,, testing the waters and wait to see by 2010 what turns up. not sure why the media always pits different music acts against all others ,,, there has never really been any quarrels between these two. its like having a huge studio and now instead of record deals its the visual movies with master producers giving tone to the intro to the end of the whole movie on a super budget . just think some movies have been made with sequels in mind and prequels as well. movies are big biz. and also cult following . its another market and element of design. every sound and melody as well. you will start to see there names pop out more even if they stop doing the touring and putting out yearly albums. its becoming frustrating work to do something yearly or every 5 years; and have the masses tear it up, cause it sounds different? progression is key. learning is key . Moving forward is KEY. head like a whole from the era of 88 - 89... probably thought about and written before that....perhaps some artists can be burnt out from doing the same old thing too much. i know i would. i am just soo stoked by everything al jourgensen has done , and now taking a break... same with Trent and co. with nine inch nails. my hat goes off to both of them and others as well. Truly remarkable artists to be doing this for soo long . the energy to tour,,, and still help other artists and produce and still find time to sleep ! i wish i could have a lunch with either of them just to say ... i have been sooooo inspired from their movement of just doing all that they do. And the charities as well. totally amazing and heart felt. not all music artists do this. this is just something i have to type out to be noticed. i am barely scratching the surface. i wish more spectators realized this more.... it's the music that brings us together, And to see a live show... that not many have the opportunity to see...we are very lucky.

Yes, I remember that. Aside from Al's music, I also like his storytelling and sense of humor even though he sometimes takes potshots at Trent. And well, like Trent's stories of survival, I actually find Al's stories of survival inspirational in some ways too.

Ministry’s Al Jourgensen Shares His Top Five Tips for Signed Musicians

Revolver posted:
Since founding influential industrial-metal band Ministry 30 years ago, Al Jourgensen–who is featured in our new, 100th issue as one of the 100 Greatest Living Rock Stars–has experienced almost everything it’s possible to encounter as a hard-living extreme-music-maker. With Ministry returning with a new album, Relapse, in March and supporting tour next year–plus Jourgensen’s psycho-country outfit Buck Satan and the 666 Shooters finally dropping their debut, Bikers Welcome! Ladies Drink Free, in January–now seemed like a good time to pick the rock icon’s brain for some of the most important lessons he has learned through his years in the biz.

5.”Never drink wine that doesn’t have a cork in it. No boxes. No screw-off things. Just drink wine with a cork and shut the fuck up.”

4. “Always use clean needles.”

3. “Immediately be suspect of everyone around you, especially the ones closest to you–your agent, management, porn star wife, etc.”

2. “Audit the record labels every two years. You’re allowed to do it that often, and if you audit those fuckers, you’ll see there’s money flying hand over fist that you’re not seeing. It’s worth it. You can find auditors who will do it on speck and they’ll get a percentage of what they find, and what they find is a goldmine because these motherfuckers are shameless. I don’t care if it’s an independent label or a major label–they’re all shameless.”

1. “Put it in her ass or her mouth, but don’t stick in in her pussy unless you have a rubber.”
