Memorial Day Plans?? .. hmmm .. probably a little bit of chillaxing .. some time by the pool I am sure. There is usually a cook out of some sort. The big huge NASCAR race is in town this weekend so I try to avoid getting out. Unfortunately, at home is not where I wanna be right now.
I have some tan lines but they are all kinds of messed up. More of a shirt tan .. although meh legs are getting brown. Let's compare tan lines after the weekend! .. I should be a lot more even .. I'll PM you.
What about you? .. with the plans? Debating that Gogol Bordello show tonight which should be lotsa fun. Hmmm. Indeed. Janes Addiction is Wednesday but .. it's pretty much OUT. Pricey tickets .. and $10 parking. Meh! | |

Besides, I try to never buy hardware the second it comes out. If there are any glitches in the system they'll be repaired by the second or third wave out of the factory. You're not a dork, Bunneh - I have bootlegs from all the NIN shows I've been too, as well saving the ticket stubs . And if they'd announced it just a few days earlier, Deb & I totally would've jumped on the Meet & Greet *sigh*

BINK! Thanks for the reminder. Didn't get the yet to be released stuff .. but got a few Gogols .. and the new Garbage. Yep, on the NiNPod. The Gogol albums make me smile .. but can't really listen to a whole album.
And yes .. full Gogol review in meh thread, silly. It's "a thing". With pictures even. I like meh show pictures. I should frame some one day .. Cheap Trick bootleg?!? I'm ready for the pool!! Oooh, I don't know if I'm ready for a fan club, Bunneh. I can barely remember to water my houseplants, what if I forget to feed my fans?!?! What do you feed fans, anyway? Bootlegs and sexy pix?? Dinner tonight - leftover completely kickass Thai Basil Beef I made from my mom's recipe, with black pearl rice and broccoli . Homemade apricot/blackberry cobbler for dessert. I forgot to buy vanilla ice cream though. FAIL
T'was mostly cloudy here over the long weekend, so no tan lines even if I wanted them . Maybe I'll get a farmer tan this weekend, when I'm out at BFD and the Gigantes' game. I have my SPF50, but it does rub off after awhile . . .

Being 20 (OMFG I'm almost 21 D: btw) does suck. Can't go to clubs on their best nights, can't partake in gambling, can't book my own hotel room, etc. Anyhow, how was everyone's week without me around? Just kidding on the last part

I actually saw Def Leppard back in the day .. in one of those center stage set ups. Queensryche opened up for them who totally kicked their butts. Except the crowd was so very lame, they didn't appreciate it. Then the DL show .. the worst .. and I do mean worst .. guitar solo in the history of rock shows. Dude hit his strings and then the wah wah bar .. for like 5 minutes straight .. turning to each side of the stage each time. And of course, the lame crowd loved it. Pfft. Never forget that solo. Rolling Stone mentioned a bootleg I need to get a hold of. Led Zep back in 70something .. supposed to be really good. Well, *I* had a glorious time seeing Def Leppard, in the round, with BinkJr, in 1987
. When I was already more than 20 years old. Then again, so was BinkJr . Good times.
Any time any of you want to drop by for dinner, just let me know. I love cooking for friends!! Tonight was just pasta, because I'm feeling a bit, ahhh, cranky (ifyouknowwhatImeanandIthinkyouprobablycanguess). Yes, major for Zep! I'll have to see which boot RS says I should have; a lot of them have pretty crummy sound because it was a lot harder to smuggle in a reel-to-reel machine!
