YAY!! PICTURE SPAM ARE TEH AWEZUM!!
Other than Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuben, anyone else have weekend plans? I don't  . I mean, yes, I have to buy groceries and do housework, but nothing exciting. After this past week though, I can deal with some peace and quiet!

No fun plans for me either. Been too damn rainy here the last couple of weeks,so hopefully I can work on my tan tomorrow and get ready for the season premiere of True Blood! | |

So how did that work out for you
 ? I actually had a free weekend of HBO, but didn't see True Blood. I did watch the season finale of Game Of Thrones, and wow, that really *is* a good show!! Now I have to go back and find the rest of the episodes on Netflix or Pirate Bay. Oh bummer.
Yeah, I will always have a soft spot for Destructo-Trent. Well, maybe a couple soft spots, but let's not get into details 
Biggest thing I did all weekend was make up a new dish for dinner Sat. I had some banana peppers I wanted to stuff, but no ground meat. So I made some Mexican risotto, added black beans and cheddar cheese, and stuffed them with that. Then I poured the batter from my chile relleno casserole over them and popped them in the oven. Yummy, if I do say so myself. Which I do  .
Otherwise it was the same ol' same ol' here. Lovely hot weather, plenty of crappy baseball (sigh), some crafting and napping mixed in. And now, it's Monday. No more parties or goodies or short workweeks, princess time is over. Yeah, I know, whine whine | |

MMMMMM,I love banana peppers. Stuffed with ground beef sounds super yummy! It's ok to whine bink because the weekends go by too fast. Congrats to Trent on 11 years sober today!!! | |

John and I are going to his 25 year high school reunion on Sat. I get a little nervous when it comes to meeting a lot of people all at once,but John loves to talk so it takes the pressure off of me. It's at Saratoga State Park kinda like a barbque type thing. NIN has played at the amphitheater twice. | |

! So just how awesome is it??
Quiet weekend here. I finally got a new chair for my living room (old one just isn't very comfy), so of course that night my microwave died. Why don't they give you any warning they're about to go  ??? Thank goodness for credit cards. . . .
Busy week ahead. Wed night I get to finally meet the delightful PeedroPaula, on her way through town to WA . Thursday it's out to dinner with Deb, her husband & her parents. Friday. . . .
Friday Deb goes in for her surgery, so I'll be a wreck all day. I'm just glad her folks are able to come out for a few weeks, because even though she keeps saying she heals fast, and it's not going to be a problem, it *is* a big deal, and her husband can't get that much time off work. Plus, one of my fav co-workers is leaving on Friday. Better job, closer to home, etc. I'm pleased for her, but still, the office is going to be quieter and less sunny after she's gone. And there will be far fewer "bicuits" around, too. Bit of a downer here, huh? Let's see. . . . .OH! My A's won yesterday, that's cheerful. For me, anyway | |

The reunion was fun. John got to see one of his best friend's growing up. Though he drank a little too much but we still had fun. Oh no, best of luck to Deb with her surgery! Have fun meeting Paula!

Nah, the 4th will be odd because it's in the middle of the week. We *only* get that day off, so no real room to party hardy without paying for it at 6am the next day. But I might go to a bbq or something, if one pops up. How about you

Still trying to decide where to take Paula for dinner tomorrow. Leaning toward Rudy's Can't Fail Cafe, they have a little of everything. And a nice bar. I'm just sayin' . . .nah, might pull a John and enjoy it a bit too much . You know, I can't think of anyone who's gone to a class reunion and *not* had maybe 1 drink too many. At least he had you to keep an eye on him, Bunneh!
A low end Retina Display laptop is still pretty sweet, Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuben! So glad you're enjoying it! Maybe my next tax refund will go toward a new laptop. Although, I was hoping to go to spring training. Or get a new tv for my bedroom. Maybe some awesome Diamond Level seats for next season. Hmmm, this is going to require some thought. Thanks for the good wishes for Deb. I'm sure everything will be perfectly fine, but still, it *is* surgery, so I will worry . | |

I have SUCH a tension headache right now. Funny thing is, it's from a sense of relief, so I guess it's an ex-tension headache ? Deb's surgery went fine, and as soon as her husband called to tell me that it was like I got smacked over the head with a bat. I'm hoping a beer will help it go away
Didn't get to go out with Paula after all  . Traffic was horrible on her way up the coast, so we've put it off until next week. Still think Rudy's is the place to go.

The CEO will be off Wed-Fri, so I can maybe crochet or work on something interesting while he's gone, but for now it's zzzzzzzzzzzzz............. | |

Beer for headaches is good, but not if it's a sinus headache. At least for me, pretty much nothing helps with that, and that what most of mine are. Tension headaches are very beer-friendly
I just ate a 600 calorie sandwich cookie thing. My god it was good, but if I'd known it was that bad for me I'd have shared with someone! It wasn't even that big, maybe 2" diameter. Of course, I have a feeling most of the calories were in the 1/2" thick dulce de leche filling . . . . Haven't heard from Deb since Sunday evening, but I'm not surprised. Surgery is a bee-atch. Mmmmm, dulce de leche . . . . . | |

Met PeedroPaula on the 4th. She's lovely . We only had time for dinner, but it was so nice to actually meet a NINnie.
Deb's steadily recovering, hooray! That's about it from here. Pizza and a salad for dinner, no weekend plans. We'll see what happens

It's pretty easy. Just non-fat yogurt,milk,sugar,vanilla,yellow cake mix.
