Limo night! That'll be fun .. me thinks. Plus .. Monday morning H party story .. ftw!

Good luck with your job meeting H. Sending positive vibes your way!

Also, thinking $50 for APC tickets .. around there .. depending upon ticket crapster fees.

03/25/11 7:46 AM

ohhh word! tonight is gonna be a wooo night! i'll be sure to report back with stories and possibly maybe a pic or 2.

thanks for the positive vibes! i just got off the phone with a psycho mom and my co-worker was no help what-so-fucking-ever which makes me so angry that my hands shake. and this just reinforces in my mind that a new job at this point in time can only be a good thing!

$50 isn't bad at all for apc! i'm sure the fees are gonna be at least $10 or so but really, it's not bad at all. and now i'm even more excited for it! i am anxiously awaiting the sale announcements!

03/25/11 8:33 AM

Have fun in the limo tonight, H! And if it's going to be 19o out, I highly recommend you wear a jacket or something smiling smiley

And you're right, $50 for a ticket is not bad considering that the last Mayhem Fest I went to set my poor ass back $150 hot smiley I hope you get to go and have a blast smiling smiley

03/28/11 8:03 AM

Doo tell a limo party tale .. when you get some time.

*prepares popcorn*

03/28/11 8:50 AM

haaaa!

so friday after i got outta work the first thing i did before i even put my purse down or took off my coat & shoes was have a drink. my roommate got the recipe from the Absolut commercials they play during Ru Paul's Drag Race, it's Absolut Berry Acai + sour mix...SO good! So there was that. Then bitches came over so we could all get in the limo and taken to the restaurant. The limo was sick and was stocked w. champagne for us. It was a lot of fun and our driver was the shit. Dinner was good but it was expensive which was a negative for me.
So we get back in the limo and go back to my house to finish getting ready/continue to pregame. Then when we were ready to go to the club we drove around town for a few minutes and drank some more champagne, more vodka, and did body shots of alcoholic whipped cream off each other. Our driver made sure we all got into the club for free. We all looked super hot, too, jusssayin.
So everyone is pretty much already hammered before we get to the club and kept drinking when we got there. I ordered a cran+vodka+red bull and danced a lil bit. Then all of a sudden, I felt really sick. I wasn't even THAT drunk but I think it had something to do with the fact that the drinks there were like pure sugar and no alcohol, on top of the mixing of the liquors- which is my bad. So I ended up puking in the bathroom there like 3 times.
At that point I just wanted to leave. I mean, don't get me wrong, I can hold my own and it's not like I was falling over drunk or anything or slurring my words. It's kind of like when you eat way too much candy and feel sick. The bartenders were cool though because after I puked I was standing next to the garbage can blowing the puke chunks out of my nose (woof) so they handed me a wet wash cloth, which was nice.
So I made some people leave with me and we walked to my house, which isn't a long walk but when you're wearing heels it sucks. I was craving a cigarette and of course no one had a lighter so apparently (and this is really the only part of the night i don't remember) I asked some crack head dude on a bike for a light. And then he followed us and kept saying shit to me like "you got any money white girl???". Hahaa! Good thing my husband was there- he's very protective.

So I passed out and I honestly didn't even have a hangover the next morning. I think the whole puking thing was just one of those situations where you feel instantly better right after u do it.

Also, the next morning, I had the 2nd part of my interview. I was there for 2 hours! haha! but long story short, I pretty much have the job. It's not official yet so I don't want to completely jump the gun but I guess it's just a matter of figuring out how much I would be getting paid and also when they can start me for training. I am so excited. Also, during the interview they bought me Starbucks- never had something like that done before by an employer let alone someone who is interviewing me. It's nice to feel appreciated. And now when I'm at my current job it just reinforces how much I want to get out of here.
So things are slowly looking up for me.

This week is going to be super busy and chaotic at work and what a perfect way to be ending it than having my bday on Saturday. I am pretty excited for that.

So that's pretty much what's new with me in the past 3 days. Pictures will be posted if and when they become available. Did anyone do anything this weekend?

03/28/11 8:57 AM

The club we went to was located in the Jersey Shore of Rochester and although I'd say it's the least obnoxious of all the clubs there I was glad to leave.

All in all, it was a fun birthday for her but to be honest it was SO over the top and was really expensive for no reason. My day is gonna be a lot more relaxed!

03/28/11 9:15 AM

I say save up for the big birthdays 21, 25, 30. tongue sticking out smiley
You are such a party girl H!
I remember my party days. grinning smiley
Thank god! your gay husband was there to protect you this weekend.

This weekend my old gay bff Swimfan21 finally defriended me on facebook. THat's what happens sometimes when people break up and you're fighting over stupid crap like who owns the WII. eye rolling smiley

But that is great news about the new job. I'm happy things are starting to get better for you.

03/28/11 10:44 AM

Thanks, boo!

Gotta love when people take out their anger or whatever it is by means of defreinding on facebook...

Yeah, 24 isn't exactly a milestone birthday or anything. My roommate's justification was that she's had some shitty birthdays in the past and i guess it's her day so she can do whatever!

I feel like I'm not as much of a party girl as some people think lol! With the exception of Fridays (and sometimes Saturdays, and holidays) I usually just hang out with my cat in my living room! haha

But yeah, my gay hubby is a former Marine so he takes no shit from anyone. And he has a temper (like me), it's pretty funny.

Congratulations on the new job, H! I'm very happy for you smiling smiley

And I'm glad you didn't get too sick after what happened. But at least you had fun for the most part, so there's that smiling smiley And pay no mind to the crackhead on the bike- worse things have happened, and at least he didn't touch you or anything

I wrote about my weekend in my thread, so if you're interested, most of the details are there

Oh, and blowing stomach chunks out of your nose into a trash can at a bar is the sexiest thing I've ever heard. If I had seen you doing that, I would have immediately walked over and asked you to marry me. Fuck the first date- I would have just straight-up proposed grinning smiley

I'm an asshole, I know smiling bouncing smiley

03/28/11 12:37 PM

Whoa .. well, it sounded like a somewhat eventful evening. At least you got to do the limo ride. Body shots .. noice. Sorry that you got sick though .. I'm sure your friends were bummed that you had to leave.

Yay for your Birfday!

Thanks for sharing H!

03/28/11 2:36 PM

haha well some of them thought i got kicked out but i left lol i think most of them were too drunk to notice anyways it's all good.

blowing puke chunks out of your nose is so sexy! haha i'm just glad no one took a picture of that...maybe.

haha that's awesome! I call the shitty drivers here douche bag, asshole, cunt, bitch, mother fucker, dipshit...etc. etc. lol

Reason behind it: We look at all of the people who come here for the weather in the winter (aka snow birds) as shitty drivers.

03/29/11 7:58 AM

That's funny. I don't know what the driving conditions are like way down in AZ but I'm assuming since there's no snow there it's not that bad? Haha but i wouldn't really know. Do people drive fast there? They do here- like I said people either go 5mph or 50. I dunno, I am convinced that Rochester NY has some of thee worst drivers in the country. When we see drivers here from out of state, specifically somewhere where snow or bad winters aren't as common, we get pissed at them because they don't know how to handle the winter roads lol!

So I officially got offered the job yesterday! Woo! AND i FINALLY got my tax return check in the mail and to my surprise the check was for a lot more that I thought it would be because I miscalculated whatever. I am SO excited! I am finally going to be able to tackle a lot of bills and get myself out of this state of drowning that I am in. It sucks that bills are a never ending cycle and they definitely aren't avoidable but it will be nice to get a lot of stuff behind me. So yeah, yesterday at work was crazy busy and the rest of this week is going to be the same way with Wednesday anticipated to be the worst, but those 2 things totally made up for it.

It's such a nice feeling to have knowing that as much as this job sucks I don't have to deal with it for much longer. Now I just need to figure out a good time to put in my 2 weeks here. A part of me feels bad because I would be leaving at such a crucial time (like the only busy time of the year in this office). I don't want anyone to be mad at me, not that I care that much and doubt i'll lose sleep over it, but I just don't want anyone to bark at me with things like "oh, you really should have given us more of a heads up ya know" or "wow, we're gonna be down 2 people now". But I'm so over it here. It was my goal to find a new job this year so I can check that off my list. And then of course I am slightly apprehensive about this new job too, like, what if it's no better there than it is here? and what if it doesn't work out? Then I remind myself that you never know until you try and I know if I were to stay here, even with this shit for brains co-worker leaving in a matter of days, that I would not be any happier. So it is what it is.

um, sorry for the ramble?

03/29/11 9:30 AM

Ramble-riffic there H. So happy for you and your new job! More than likely, the peeps in the new job will be more professional and hopefully, less annoying. The job change will be a good thing for you, me thinks.

And 2 weeks is plenty of notice .. screw em.

+woot on the tax refund!

03/29/11 9:31 AM

Woo! CONGRATS! smiling smiley
I would put in my 2 weeks notice right away. Don't worry about the office you work for now. They may be short staffed when you leave but that is that business's burden. They can hire someone else. You don't really owe them anything, it's enough you give them 2 weeks. I can relate to being nervous about a new job since you don't know if it will be better than the previous one. Sometimes you have to take a risk and leap into the unknown. Sometimes you just know that the time is right and the stars are all allinged for things to happen. It doesn't always work that way, but occassionally.

Things worked out great for me and my new job. I've been working for 5 weeks and I'm still learning. My co-workers are great and I love them. So my job change was the best thing I ever did.

Don't forget the free pizza...

03/29/11 1:46 PM

thanks guys! yeah, I am going to call my new employer and confirm some things and then bright and early tomorrow morning I am putting in my 2 weeks here. tomorrow is going to be the busiest day of this office's year so it kinda sucks with the timing but I'm not going to let this new opportunity go by. The only thing that sucks about this new job ..which can also be seen as a good thing...is that i may have to travel throughout the city to the different office locations. I mean, i would be getting trained in an office that is an hour away but at this point I don't really care. I am sick of this office and sick of complaining about it all the time haha!

Of course..with my new job, i won't be able to post during the work day anymore..which is mainly when i post. Guess I'll have to do it after work.

The out of towners drive mad slow and block traffic for everybody else. Oh yeah people drive fast here, highway speed could say 65 and people will be doing 80 without a care in the world.

Don't you dare abandon us just because you can't post at work!

03/30/11 7:17 AM

haha i wont!

2 weeks are officially in. it was pretty scary and i was kind of shaking the whole time but everyone in my office just seems happy for me. maybe they're happy to see me go but maybe they're just happy that i'm going somewhere where i will be happier.. (prob the second one).

last night was agonizing and i was going back and forth on my decision and second guessing myself. but then after talking with my new boss/district manager a lot of my fear was put at ease. So now i am very assured that I made the right choice.

thumbs up

Last friday was pizza Friday and we get some from a place called Draughts. 4 pizzas cost 90.00 bucks. Holy Shiz!!!! I think the budget for pizza is 45. ><

H! I'm glad to hear about the notice. smiling smiley Don't worry about not posting here during the day. You will get used to it. I post in the mornings like right now and late at night. And when I can't stand it anymore I post on my iphone. Yes I'm a geek and an internet addict...

Also, cool beans on the new job.

You should start planning for next year (25 is kinda a milestone). Have you ever been to Tilt? I sort of assume you have since you've got some gay/bi friends, but if you haven't you should check it out sometime.

Of course I've been to Tilt. It's fun and i like to dance in the cages but for me, tilt is like a once a year kinda thing. It's my least favorite of the gay bars simply because it's 18+ which annoys me to no end. It's really nice in there though.

Thanks for the bday wishes! I don't know how spoiled I was that day but I did get a new flat screen for my living room, so maybe a little bit! haha.
My day was aright. I went out to eat at night w. my friends which was good and then after that there was all this drama about what to do next. I wanted to go check this one place out and people were literally telling me that they're not going there. THAT pissed me right the fuck off so from that point on in the rest of the night, I was in a bad mood. I tried to get drunk but since I was steadily drinking throughout the night it didn't really happen, which I guess was a good thing. Long story short, we ended up at my one friend's house for a karaoke party. Due to the unnecessary drama, it kind of cast a shadow on the rest of the night, and if i didn't do some lines I would have walked home. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad all night or anything and I did have fun, but I'm just saying that if people weren't so rude or selfish it would've been a little better. I guess some people felt bad about it because they knew i was upset but when it comes down to it, it was MY bday so I'm allowed to decide where we go. I mean, I go everywhere for people's bdays so I don't understand why there was such a fucking issue over this. Last weekend I had to go to the Jersey Shore of Rochester for my friends bday- which if you know anything about me, you know that I want to fight everyone when I go to those bars, they're terrible. But I sucked it up and went anyways.

So now I'm kinda bent out of shape over it and I don't want to sound ungrateful or anything but it just is what it is. At least now I have my new tv to come home to!

Oh yeah, on Friday night, I went to my friends house for some wine (same house we went to on my bday night). Her roommate had some pot treats (not brownies) and so I said, ehh why not. I didn't feel anything from it but then like an hour later i was stoned out of my rabid ass mind. I haven't been that high since I was like 17 and I was bugging out. I woke up the next morning still ripped. NEVER again!

04/04/11 7:22 AM

Sorry your birthday wasn't as great as you wanted .. but Woot! On the new tv! .. that's a good thing.

Yeah, pot treats can fuck you up, for sure.

APC ticket details are supposed to come out today. More Woot!
