as for now, merch.com (team) sucks
at least just because:
- when they're hearing you're from Russia they don't want to talk with you
- they're answering like a robots (one short phrase)
- they don't want to work with companies outside US and ESPECIALLY with Russia nor any russian person at all
- they will NEVER ship ANYTHING to Russia (as was said in last email)

and what can i do about all this, when i want to get some merch for Russian NIN Fanclub members?!

(and yes, it's a serious bid, not that "omg i want that one t-shirt!!!111"winking smiley

that's just sad sad smiley
Yes, it's a shame that they don't deliver to all countries. Are any fans more important than others?

Shipping from the U.S. to other countries is a pain in the ass. I can understand why NIN would not ship far outside of the U.S., plus shipping would cost you an arm and a leg.

To show some respect to the people who bought a "numbered" Slip copy, I thought an armband would be cool. Something like the actual artwork with just the black edges, red middle, and #184,750(in my case) to promote the album, yet be unique. The numbered Slip owners could submit a photo of them with the CD and pay for shipping, etc..

The cost of manufacturing the numbered pieces could be covered by selling the same armband with the name of the album or some other artwork from the album on it at shows or online, etc.. And the versatility of the armband would enable the item to be worn to promote NIN with many looks. Not just tee-shirt and jeans attire.

No need to thank me.

Or I could just get a SLIP NUMBER TATTOO!!! 8)

I have another suggestion / request. Now, I haven't checked the merch section 100% thoroughly so excuse me if I'm blind, BUT it would be GREAT to see some organic & fair-trade cotton (or materials superior to cotton) in yer shop. cool smiley

Aside from the obvious.....OFFER OTHER SIZES THAN XL or XXXL!

BRING BACK THE nothing STICKERS! every car I've owned since the mid 90's has had the classic nothing sticker on the back bumper. I know nothing is kinda defunct now, but I'd love to have the stickers make a come back!

yeah i dunno what you guys are missing, i was just at the merch store, found three shirts/ hoodies i was ready to buy and all that was offered was like xl-xxl.

on another note, something i would love to see are more posters!
if you look they have a shitload of posters from some past shows. like 05-06. and the posters look fuckin awesome...why dont they offer them for all the shows? hell if i were able to buy unique posters from all the nin shows id seen i would.. not just a LITS poster with all the dates/venues on it.

I have a bone to pick with the merchandise on nin.com. Im not a feminist or anything but would it be too much to ask that the label "girls" be replaced with "women" for shirts and other merch items. I know all of the female NIN fan base is super cute and hot but we would hope to outgrow our childhood labels at some point and be respected. Probably nobody has even noticed this feature but it has always irritated me a little. Please update, adopt, adapt and improve!

A NIN messenger bag would be AMAZING!!!! I want The Slip shirts/jackets online, too.

Every time I've checked over the last six months I've been bitterly disappointed that most of the clothing is only available in extreme sizes. Does nin.com not want to make any money out of selling merch or is there some other reason why the stock is not getting replenished or website is not being updated?

10/23/08 6:29 PM

i feel you...i would love to see the merch store updated. Soon? hehe

10/31/08 2:53 AM

New merch site has gotten a face lift. Some what of a change to not have the With Teeth look anymore and more so The Slip. Yet as you go through it has almost exactly all the same stuff...
As for the issue with complants about the XXL shirts, it's only in a few. All the great shirts don't have and email merch and are not coming.

Ex. Pretty Hate Machine, NIN Latice, Nin Coil Discolored L/s T Black, Nin Tour Logo 2000 T Black (Fragility). I believe XXL's are the first to sell out of ever single shirt. The one's up, already own.
