I got up in this thread because I wanted to post exactly the same thing. I know you guys are super busy, but even a big NIN logo that links to pedobear gifs would be better than the last wave goodbye directives. Its really freaking depressing.

Still_SiNINg member Evolve Joined: 02/16/08 Location: canada Posts: 17	I have found a solution to my problem of not being able to see recent comments on my photos without searching through them one by one. If you go to your stats on flickr you can see all of your photos that have been viewed on nin.com and you can click the links to go to the photo and see if there is a new comment. The only problem with this is that you need a pro account on flickr. It's much faster than going through all your photos here. I am satisfied with this method. Since the recent post on the home page about free wallpapers I have had allot of views, (most with out comments) so I've been spending allot of time searching the links on flickr to see if I've got new comments but I assume it will quite down once the link is gone from the home page. Now that I think about it, even if you reply to a comment on your photo, the person will have to go back to it again to see if you commented so maybe a "recent activity" including "replies to your comments" would still be a good idea.

Is there any way (if it's not sacrilege) to take even temporary ownership of the threads originally authored by lenny_VIE so that I can update the first and last posts to fit in with the organizational model that I have going? I know that sounds bad (to take author power from lenny_VIE - hopefully just temporarily until I have it cleaned up) but I'm asking it for the best of reasons. Also - if I cannot take temporary control over it for whatever reasons - is there a mod out there willing to help me? I would do all of the work/typing and would just send the updated version of the post to you for you to copy and paste/edit into the first and last post of the threads. Any help in this would be greatly appreciated!

It could be like going on concert, but anyone could pay and watch you guys play from anywhere in the world. And even better NIN wouldn't have to go on long road trips and leave their families behind to go on tour. It's a win - win for everyone!

On a different note: Many people would prefer to be notified by email, when there's news on the main page, nin.com I know that everyone is already signed up for the emails that sometimes nin send, but it doesn't happen when the front page is updated with news, it just happens in rare ocassions, when nin feels the need to send a global email. So, what about creating an option to signup to email alerts for when the main page of nin.com is updated with news. So there would be 2 types emails sent by nin.com, the current that everyone is signed up for (that rarely is active), and the option to signup for email alerts from the front page on nin.com This is my second request on this thread in 2 weeks. This are really important needs, and I know I'm not the only one. (the 'subscribe to this thread' request you can shove it if you want) This current request...if it's ignored....I'm going to say this one time and I really mean it: FU.
