I am assuming it's a glitch, but it's been an irritation for some time and it seems odd that it hasn't been fixed. previous attempts to address this have been met with new links to the relevant thread but that doesn't fix the problem in the long run. otherwise, fantastic site. problem ongoing. tour's on, so it will probably stay that way for a while. oh, well, better get clicker happy. I know that we can add our videos to the video module, but you can add photos to the pictures module and embed them in posts. Personally I can't see how this would hurt anything, as embedded videos are usually smaller than the pictures most people embed. Then again, I'm not a developer and don't know the finer points of such an implementation. Doesn't hurt to ask, right? Thanks.

Something that lists the people behind the scenes that make the website, the app, the tours and anything in between work? They definitely deserve the credit. Also, to deal with the cancer that is killing the nin.com forums and clogging Trent's inbox, would it be possible to implement an IP ban system? You could suspend or ban IP's based on unacceptable behaviour. Would help to weed out a lot of riff-raff.

A NIN desktop wallpaper maker a tool you can use to make your own desktop wallpapers; people can post their master pieces for others to use too. 2. Make your own merchandise I have a T-shirt I bought off an online shop which I made myself, it says "Mrs Trent Reznor" in bright pink writing on the front maybe such a thing could be introduced on this website, it sounds like people already have their own ideas. nin.com merch 3. Trade NIN merchanside and memorbilla; a little like Ebay where people can sell,trade or buy NIN items and pay with PayPal or something. Im sure i'll think of more. If I want to say something about a specific song it is hard to navigate through the nine inch nails discussion sub forum. Only problem I could see arising from that is in every single song thread in the fragile sub forum people would just be asking for multi tracks =P

It took me 564 posts to make the mistake but I hit quote when I ment to hit edit and didn't notice until I had made my changes and hit submit

Unfortunately, circvumventing the system can be easy if you know how ... and some of these "cancers" do know how 2. There's a Collector's forum for trading already. 3. I like the idea of the per-album subforums. Perhaps I'll get on making that, similar to how the Archives forum is set up.

Test can consist of reading comprehension, basic math, problem solving and some common sense type questions. Isn't anyone else getting sick of the absolute tards that post here? Maybe if there was a test we could weed out some of that bullshit. My brain fucking hurts after reading certain posts in threads.

I've seen some things like accented vowels work correctly here, but for example, I was reading through the post-show thread for the Istanbul show and was disappointed that the text was getting crippled by the lack of the dotless i.

And I am a web designer so I have a right to say it lol. The colours in the scheme just blend in a bit too much... If you click on feeds at the top, the whole red and grey thing works much better actually...

I can see the logic behind making the non-NIN-related boards member-only, but having the general NIN discussion/tour discussion/etc. forums open to the public is super-informative.

Dude if you have seen what I have you would feel the same way. A lot of nasty shit is going down on members here and they don't even know it. It is horrible. A lot of message boards are like that. You can't see anything unless you sign up.

xantres member Joined: 09/22/08 Posts: 89	Here's an idea to solve the problem of trolls spamming Trent to death: Inspired by the Help Out and Hang Out program, what if a small donation to charity was required to send any unsolicited private message to the band? The cost involved in the Help Out Hang Out program seemed to keep the troublemakers out, so maybe it would also work here. And even if a spammer did manage to make it through, cost would prevent them from sending massive numbers of messages. Plus we would then be able to block troublemakers based on credit card info.

I have 4 videos up all using Ghosts I-IV music, and the same two are always shown. Now if someone watches the first two and thinks they are crap they won't even think to click View All. Oh, also about the videos I think it would be nice if we could pick the screen shot that shows. For one of my videos it picked a transition so it just shows a black box >.<

It´s getting depressing to log in and see an anouncement that´s been up for weeks. Ok. NIN has stopped touring, but sooner or later this site will be in a lot of pain if the members don´t get any kind of feedback. I, for one, log in see the same exact home page of the long gone rescheduled farewell concerts and pretty much want to bang my head against my screen.
