Are you logging out of the NIN.com site, before you login on the remix.nin.com site?

Try to clear your cache on Internet Explorer.
Click on "Tools" top left
Click on "Delete Browsing History"
Click on "Delete All"
Click "yes" on the pop up box

Clear cache on Mozilla's Firefox browser
Click on "Tools"
Click on "Delete Browsing History"

You should close any open NIN.com and remix.nin.com windows/pages before you clear your cache

I think I might be having the same problem. I always have to go into the forum account options to change anything in my profile. And its still all tweaked. I know the site isn't working right for me, I'm just trying to figure out if its my browser, computer (which is fairly modern), or if just something bugged out when I signed up.. and photos I tag (yes, I'm tagging them right) don't show up in the galleries..it sucks lol.

Yeah, my profile is all batty too. I see everything when I go into my account and upload photos and such, but when a friend of mine looked at my profile, they see a joined date of 12/31/69. Um... WTF? Ideas? Confirmation? Anyone?

It definitely the periods in your usernames, and I don't know if anything can be done. We all have two url's to our profiles; one by username and one by an id number, and the username version is the one that's not working for you.

For example, melanie.fera's:
http://member.nin.com/profile/view?user_id=113218 [member.nin.com]
http://member.nin.com/member/melanie.fera [member.nin.com]
The first takes you to your real profile, the second takes you to user 'melanie's' profile instead. Not sure if 'melanie' is another real user or somehow is a duplicate of your own profile that has occurred in the system because of the period.

To get to your profile, click on your avatar on a post that you've made, which links with the ID number. Then bookmark it so you can easily get to it. Kirkis.M - this may be your problem; you could be linking to 'Kirkis' instead of 'Kirkis.M' and you are unable to change anything.

Those are automatically pulled from contributions that you can make to the image gallery. See the FAQ on how to add images and videos to the media galleries.

but umm... I can't change my profile picture. I looked in some of the other threads and they said if the image is a .png it's not supported, although what's funny about that is the previous image I uploaded was a .png. So anyways I changed it to a .jpeg, but it still doesn't work, it's not my browser and it's not my cookies so I'm thinking maybe it has something to do with the server? Is anyone else having this problem?

This is actually the first time I've ever had a problem with my profile so to you guys!
