Still doesn't work for me, removed my authentication and re-added it, went to Flickr and changed the permissions so that third-party API keyholders could access the account, logged out everywhere, cleared cookies, cleared cache, logged back in to both nin.com and Flickr, still nothing shows up in the galleries (Manchester and Worcester). Also tried a different browser (IE) and that doesn't work either. This is the story of my life. I might work on this later but if someone has a suggestion, please advise. Edit: well OF COURSE now that I wrote that it might be working. Can see the pictures from Manchester. Will check Worcester. Edit again: so the pictures are showing up but just fyi, I don't show up under All Contributors. So far just you and/or swimfin. I'm on WinXP currently using Firefox 2.0.0.18. Edited 3 time(s). Those seem to be working fine now. Thanks very much for checking into things. Which JMJ tag do you think is better since hyphens won't work: justin meldaljohnsen or justin meldal johnsen? maryelle member THAT is a big-ass lens-TR Joined: 05/07/08 Location: Atlanta Posts: 1,083	Thanks - I did find another bug: when commenting, the person's profile pic show up next to the comment and at first it comes out all compressed weird or something but then it fixed itself. Not sure if that is how it's supposed to be or not. I think I had to hit F5 a couple of times and then it looked normal. Aside from not showing up under View All Contributors, it seems to be working fine for me. Thanks again. Edit: also the times of the comment are showing up as Pacific Time. Maybe that's intentional. Since no one else has uploaded any pictures themre, I'm gonna assume it's a bug and not my fault. I've tried revoking access to my account and allowing it anew, tried changing the tags... Can someone upload a photoshop there and see if they have the same issue? I'm talking about here in case anyone's wondering.

It's the same thing though. So on Flickr, add the tag nin8sf5o9rnr8 to your Caracas photos.

I suppose it's possible that I've got some setting which might be preventing the site from grabbing stuff out of my account. I might try to upload a picture to a different gallery to see if I have issues there, then delete it.

dori_doreau member mostly harmless Joined: 11/25/07 Location: berlin - germany Posts: 2,111	i found a problem in de-tagging photos on flickr, seems once a photo is added to a nin.com gallery it won't disappear when the tag gets deleted on flickr. for example, i added one picture to the photoshop gallery but decided i won't keep it there. deleted the tag on flickr like 2 hours ago, and it's still there. the picture in question: [beta.media.nin.com]

I have uploaded them and I only used the given tag for the 09.02 Red Rocks show (Flickr tag: nindpc1hrfe2z) see pic below. I also checked my permissions on Flickr and they are fine. I have also removed and re-authenticated myFlickr account with nin.com. Can anyone help? Mozilla Firefox Version 3.0.4 Windows XP Professional ()

the_fragile member Joined: 04/19/08 Posts: 2,643	So basically for most of the people here, I think that: 1. The flickr account is correctly joined to your NIN account 2. Your photos and stuff have been uploaded in Flickr 3. Your photos and stuff have been tagged with the correct tag of the gallery you wanna add your stuff in 4. Your picture options are set so that everybody can see it, all flickr users can comment AND tag them 5. You enabled the third party APP so they can access your pictures 6. It still doesn't work and your pictures won't show and you spent hours working on that and now want to bite the head off the next living thing that crosses your way? Am I correct?? Then I think we all have the same problem, and that's probably a minor thing to fix. Still, we need help.

Everyone definitely check the third-party API setting. That is in "Privacy and Permissions" not in the "Extending Flickr" tab. I thought the default was to allow it but Flickr may have changed that. I originally had mine set to not allow and when I changed it the pics started showing up here. I wish Flickr allowed people to specify which third parties were allowed to access but as far as I know, they don't at this time; it's all or nothing. Rob: a suggestion for the picture galleries: it would be nice to have a small entry box for the content creator to put a description in, similar to what is done on Flickr but it wouldn't have to be unlimited length as the Flickr box is. I suppose this could just be done by leaving a comment but a description box would be nice anyway. Also a way to either preview one's comments or edit them since as far as I can tell the character limit is still at 256 and that requires copy/paste into a WP program to check the count.

I even tried (within flickr) making the content tag-able by others, which didn't seem like a good idea... Still no luck. Looked into the API issue mentioned by maryelle, and that doesn't seem to be causing the problem. But my tagged images still aren't showing up in the galleries...
