Yay! Some of my images finally appeared in the galleries. I'd been making individual flickr tweaks and the checking each gallery...

This might be what worked:
Pick 'organize', then 'batch organize'.
Select the photos you want and drag them into the batch, then go to 'permissions' (just under 'batch organize'.
Select 'hide/show in public searches' and then check the box to hide the items. Save this setting, then go back to 'hide/show in public searches' and re-save the setting without checking the box.

I also tried 'batch organize', 'permissions', 'who can see/comment/tag?' and changed that setting to anyone (as opposed to just me). That didn't seem to make a difference, though. It was after the above steps that the photos finally appeared.

Does this work for anyone else?

Update: Also, right after I changed 'hide/show' setting for my batch, I did send a message to flickr asking them to review my account/settings to figure out why the tags weren't searchable. It was right after hitting submit that my photos finally appeared. Now I'm worried flickr will tweak my settings, and everything will disappear again! (Just to see what would happen, I went bag in and added gallery tags to a couple of pictures I hadn't originally tagged, and it took 5-10 minutes for them to appear in the galleries. I really think that batch settings mod did the trick. Good luck, everybody!

It should say "Flickr tag," I'm not sure why it just says "tag" on that show. It's the same thing though. So on Flickr, add the tag nin8sf5o9rnr8 to your Caracas photos.

I haven't been lucky... I tagged the pics, I checked privacy and permissions on Flickr, I removed and re-authenticated my Flickr account with nin.com, I waited, and the pics are not showing up... I don't know what else to do.

For me, it worked after I asked the Flickr staff to review my account, to make sure the content was safe. I did, and now my pictures are all there.

OK, so one of my pictures showed up in the fan art segment (I posted it there sort of as an experiment), but the stuff I tagged for the photoshop gallery still isn't there.

I followed eris7's advice in order to get this far, I'm gonna muck around a bit to see if I can get the pictures to show up in the photoshop gallery, too.

edit: everything A-OK now

I'll say it again, eris7's approach seems to work best.

something strange in the video galleries: yesterday i submitted a video to the fan video gallery, but it won't show up there or in any other video gallery (i checked them all). instead it's just under my submissions (view user's video contributions) available.

so there's either a bug in the fan video gallery, or if it was rejected by a mod there's a bug in that part of the galleries.

Weirdness. One of my snaps from Jacksonville is no longer listed, but still has the tag on Flickr (and the other three are still showing up). Any ideas what happened?

And now it's back. Bizarre.

OK works now, I waited my 3 day period, however now my photo for contributions, is now not showing. I will give time since it seems to be a glitch from what I have read so far, so I will wait on that.... Just glad my work is popping up...

So I posted something in the tattoo gallery, I'm the sole contributor right now, but it says top contributor is kenhatch - and if you click on his name, he has no photos uploaded. It's weird. I'm sure you're probably working on it. I'm just glad my photos are showing up now (cause they weren't last night).
