Thanks! This solved the problem.

Ocelot: you mean besides Minneapolis? Because you have a bunch in there.

If you mean another show, that's weird that some would flow over on the API and others wouldn't. I'd guess that is a bug on the NIN side, not the Flickr side. Not sure though.

ps. I tried what Eris suggested (hide/show in public places settings)... but no avail.

I have a question, you see, I had alot of nine inch nails videos on my camera from the Dallas show and uploaded them onto my facebook account and then deleted them off of my camera to save space for when I was to see nin again. Is there anyway I can upload the facebook videos onto youtube?

May have just been a lag--all five of your tagged photos are in the gallery now. (Nice shots!)

My images aren't showing up. I uploaded some of them on Friday, and some of them yesterday. I have them tagged the appropriate code for the NIN gallery I want them in. I've authenticated my flickr acct with NIN, I've set my pictures to public, and I have even tried the tip that eris7 posted. Ive had some issues with the beta NIN image site as well... here is what i had to do to get my images to work.

1. Have your flickr account reviewed: If you don't, it's impossible to flag your images as publicly searchable. Also, once your account is reviewed, you will have to go back and flag all the images you want NIN to see as searchable. Anything posted before the review is still flagged private. Request a review here:

[www.flickr.com]

2. Flag your images as publicly searchable twice. I don't know why this has to happen, but it seems to work for me. Click on the "Flag your Photo" link at the bottom right hand of the image page. the popup has a checkbox labled "Hide this photo from public searches" if it is unchecked, check it, then save. Then go back in, uncheck it, and save again.

3. Flag all images you want in the NIN galleries as "Photograph". NIN only seems to be able to see Flickr images flagged as "Photograph" If it is flagged as "Screenshot" or "Art/Illus.", NIN can't find it, at least in my experience.

The Fan Art gallery should be displaying again.

I am still investigating the root cause, but I fixed the symptom.

How do you know when your account has been reviewed or not? I've already done steps 2 and 3 but it sounds like I need to go back through the NIN permissions and tagging after review??

I am in the same boat. I have been trying to upload my pictures from the 12/7 PDX show. What's up? I noticed that there are NO photos after that show posted...like did anyone from Boise or Montana take a picture??

.. I've been trying for acouple wkz. now and I've done everything the adding your image guide said and tried out the info given up above posts.. Still nothing!!!

( But I had NO PROBLEM with adding the video.. thanX )

Wow, sorry I left that bit of info out. Silly me...when your account has been reviewed, you will know if you click on your screen name at the top of the Flickr photostream, just to the right of the words "Signed in as". If it has been reviewed, something very much like this...

Your account has been reviewed as safe by Flickr staff. (What does that mean?)

Will be displayed directly beneath the large header text "Your Account".

Okay, I'll try to explain more clearly; I re-read my most recent post and it's pretty muddy. We can thank the inventors of Percocet for that...


If you are having trouble getting your images to show up on the NIN beta image site, try the steps below.

If you already know that your account has been reviewed as safe, skip Steps 1a through 1g, and go straight to Step 2.


Step 1a: Log in to Flickr. We're going to have your account reviewed.

Step 1b: Follow this link: [www.flickr.com]

Step 1c: Follow the instructions on that page to request a review.

Step 1d: Be patient, or a fake a reasonable approximation of patience. (Mine was reviewed in a few hours, yours may take longer.)

Step 1e: When you finally can't stand the suspense any longer, follow this link to find out if your account has been reviewed: [www.flickr.com]

Step 1f: Look for the following line of text on the upper half of that page:

Your account has been reviewed as safe by Flickr staff. (What does that mean?)

Step 1g: If that line is present, you are good to go on to Step 2. If it is not present, go do something else for a while...hours perhaps, maybe you'd like a nice cold beer and a friendly game of nine ball? Whatever. Then repeatSteps 1d through 1f,

Step 2: Flag your images as publicly searchable twice. I don't know why this has to happen, but it seems to work for me. Click on the "Flag your Photo" link at the bottom right hand of the image page. the popup has a checkbox labled "Hide this photo from public searches" if it is unchecked, check it, then save.
