There have been very few completed uploads as we've been discussing here, really since these forums have opened. I have sent my concerns to a programmer and I was told they are checking into it, but nothing more.

I am also having the a similar upload error. I've tried Both IE 7 and Firefox 2.0.0.16 on my Vista, and Firefox 3.0.1 and Safari 3.1.1 on my mac.

Just hoping this information helps.

Hey guys,

I'm using Ubuntu Hardy heron (8.04) and Windows XP together.

I can't see the login field, the news field etc. in the left box. There is a big box with this remix.nin-color.

I can't login with Ubuntu. What packages have I to install? Or is it not possible?

I had that problem for a while but just right click and select all and you will be able to see where to log in..

Thank you for your fast reply. I tried your advice but it doesn't work.

After I clicked right it shows me (translated from german):
-size up
-size down
-show all
-quality
-print
-settings
-about Adobe Flash Player 9

I trust this website and changed the settings and allowed everything. And then ... nothing.

Do you have any suggestions or imaginations what might be wrong? I'm not able to solve this problem. It pisses me off angry smiley

BTW: The only field I can see is the "Listen" field ... and I don't know why!

I have tried to browse the remix site with Firefox ... and it doesn't work.
I installed several browsers (Seamonkey, Galeon, Kazehakase, Epiphany, Konqueror) and nothing again.
Konqueror shows more from the site when you open it in a new tab.
But at least I have to say Flash sucks!

Hello Everyone, My problem is I can not rate people's remixes nor can I upload an image for my remix profile...I dare not even try to upload a remix but then again I'm tech inepted.

Yeah !!! I uploaded my remix right now... and it seemed to work... no problems...
the second screen with the further detail informations came and all went smothly...
i came through it and the last screen is the "finished screen..."
(you will receive an e-mail... when the remix is aproved... )

so hopefully my remix will be soon online ;-D

For the past three months or so I haven't been able to upload remixes. They're all valid mp3s as far as anyone I know can tell and can be emailed fine, just not uploaded.

remix.nin.com has never worked under linux (both ubuntu last year and now fedora 9). I'm pretty sure that it has to do with the linux version of flash. It would be nice if they fixed it so that it worked under linux.

yeah i'd be nice if they fixed it. it's pretty annoying that if i want to be involved in the free fan music remix community i have to buy software. and it seems like only remix.com that doesn't work....youtube, espn, mlb, and other flash based sites seem to work ok.

Hey...i hate to be so annoying but i just want to know why everybody is able to upload their mixes and i´m not! I tried IE7 and FF3 and neither worked... My mp3 it´s only 8 mb. Please help me i´ve been trying to upload my first remix for over a month now! It´s not fair sad smiley

Still no luck, going on a month now and every upload attempt takes forever and just brings me to that goddamn red upload failure notice. I just tried 5 times in a row with no luck. It's extremely irritating. It doesn't look like anyone has a sure solution but any other ideas on what might be the problem would be appreciated. I have tried using several different computers and I have tried uploading through Firefox, Explorer and Safari to only get the same result.

As of now I'm guessing they are still working on some bugs? It keeps logging me out while I'm trying to approve. Hang tight.

I am definitely logged in btw.

I had the same problem. When I downloaded the browser Flock, which is related to Firefox, but different, it worked for me. I was then able to download, but still wasn't able to on IE7. Maybe Flock might work for you.

I had the same problem. When I downloaded the browser Flock, which is related to Firefox, but different, it worked for me. I was then able to download, but still wasn't able to on IE7. Maybe Flock might work for you.

Hey,

Have you tried updating your Flash? Check the version or upgrade for the heck of it. Sometimes bugs can be fixed with a fresh install/update.

remix.nin.com is pretty much all Flash/Java script and I'm willing to bet it will solve at least one of the problems I have read about.

I approved about 10 or so remixes around noon, so I think we are OK now (for uploading at least - I hope!).
