New member from the Gold Coast, Queensland. Andrew's the name. Hi all. I am a hardcore Jazz freak. Many people are SHOCKED when I tell them how NIN holds a very special place in my heart. And they do. Trent is the man and I admire him for doing things his way and fuck those who try to get in the way. I am nearly 23 and been a fan since I was about 12. Now that I am older, I have come to appreciate NIN a lot more.

PS - i saw a post earlier on here about wether NIN are touring down here after singapore? pretty sure they are, dont quote me, but I DID hear it on triple j the other day that Trent said somethin about it while he was down here earlier. last tour/no more NIN kinda talk.

I am at UQ posting this RIGHT NOW. smiling smiley Don't go to Subway, the line is massive.

I also bought a ticket to Rockwerchter today, it is the freakin festival line up of my dreams. OH. MY. GOD. The next 3 months I am not going to be able to concentrate on anything.

is that typo?

did you mean?
"...NIN are touring down here after singapore? pretty sure they are,..."

or did you mean?
"...pretty sure they are[n't],..."

i mean, i don't wanna be too greedy since NIN were just in Australia but i don't want to go to singapore/manila if i can just duck over to the hordern either?!?!

Yeah...I'm in a similar situation. Holding off on buying tx for Singapore until the rest of the tour dates for this part of the world are announced. Wasn't it about 5-6 days ago that Trent stated on Twitter that the rest of these tour dates will be announced within the week. Any minute now... (*keeps checking tour page*)

I noticed on the Singapore forum site that people are buying "presale" tx from the promoters site. This is strange as it is not through nin.com. I am thinking maybe this is a way for the promoters to make a bit of cash? Surely it can't be the nin.com presale as they are always done via the official channels not venue promoters. It is making me nervous though as if they don't come to Aus I will go to Singapore and will definitely want presale tx. I have ruled out Manila (unfortunately) due to safety issues there, especially considering I'm a female traveling alone.

Hey guys! I'm selling a copy of We're In This Together Part 1 on eBay currently.

Ohh God I sure am getting frustrated waiting for all the tour dates to be released. My last post was obviously wrong as the tour page now states for Singapore that presale is n/a, and that tx are on sale via the promoters website (with limited pre-sale tx now selling!). I am trying to delay buying a ticket as long as possible (in case they do come back to Aus), but hopefully won't delay it so long that if they don't come here I can no longer get a presale Singapore ticket. I don't think I'd go if I didn't have presale as I want to be up front. Ahh...feeling the pressure. I wish they would not start selling tx until all the tour nearby tour dates are released

Does a presale ticket guarantee you a good spot at the show? I thought it just secured you your ticket, but you have no advantage over anyone else as far as position goes.

There are 2 separate lines: One for presale ticket-holders and one for standard (e.g., Ticketek) ticket-holders. The presale line enters before the regular line. So if you got tx via ticketek or whatever and turned up early it would really be a waste of time as you still wouldn't get in before all the presale line has entered. If you want to be up front you need presale and to be there as early as possible

Hello, fellow Gold Coaster! grinning smiley

Yvonne, the sales for the Singapore presale seems to be moving veryyy slowly. . . I'm not entirely sure it's limited. Before the seat/row number disappeared off them, there'd been an estimated 400/450 sold. . . that was days ago. :/
So I'm not really sure how beneficial presale tickets will be for this particular gig, unfortunately. sad smiley

I'm actually wondering whether the presale through the promoter doesn't actually entitle the holder to early entry (i.e., that there won't be 2 lines, with presale ticket holders entering prior to everyone else). It doesn't seem to be a nin.com presale ticket, so I am thinking that there won't be a nin.com presale ticket entrance. Do you have a ticket to this show? If yes, please give details on it's appearance.
Also, nin.com presale tickets are only released on the day, to stop scalping. From what I see in the Singapore forum they are posting the presale tickets out to people, which makes me feel even more certain of my above theory

Yeah, I'm really not sure what's going on with the ticketing for Singapore.
The websites all say that presale ticket holders will get priority entrance, but presale tickets still haven't sold out. And yes, agreed on it not being through nin.com. The tour page says na for presale tickets. I have a feeling it'll be a wait and see type thing.
I for one, partly bought presale tickets because they were $20 cheaper. I wish I could give you details on the appearance, but they don't post them to Australia, I have to pick mine up before the show. Another poster in the Singapore forum posted a photo of his tickets, though.
It's all a little up in the air for me on understanding exactly what's going to happen regarding priority entrance, given the circumstances. But I'm gonna go regardless.

I will organise it in a bit. Right now I'm a tad busy with things, just got back from Melbourne, I loved the stencil art there. That was my segue into this:

I'm selling some of my canvas, mainly to buy more blank canvas, blades, paints, and all the related expenses in learning my craft. So if you're interested, pm me, probably 15-25 sounds fair a piece... and we'll workout shipping or pickup or whatever (I'm in Sydney)
