OK PEOPLE! WHO'S READY FOR CHICAGO?

07/09/09 10:12 PM

I am I am!

Born in Owatonna, MN, moved to Mankato at 12. Now live there during the summer and in Fargo / Moorhead the rest of the year.

Any one interested in traveling to Chicago for a farewell show? I'm up for any of the dates. Contact me if you live in or around Mankato or in and around Fargo / Moorhead (I live in Mankato presently, but will be moving to Fargo / Moorhead sometime in August. . . I can postpone moving if you live in or around Kato or the Twin Cities and want to meet up to go to a show).

I can probably find a ride to any where within an hour of Mankato or Fargo / Moorhead to meet up - probably can find a ride as far as St. Cloud or the Twin Cities. I can definitely pitch in for gas, pizza, whatev, and other concert essentials. I got to see NIN in Chicago at the end of May with some close friends, but they're not willing to go back so soon for another show. I'd love to meet some more local NIN fans!

Ugh, I have to move in my dorm for the Chicago show. So lame. So very lame.

Well, this is depressing, I'll never get to see them live. From Minnesota.

As much as I reeeeeaaaallllyyyy want to go to Chi town, I spent too much money in NY to do another tour.

And also my fantasy Football draft is that weekend and it's being hosted at my place.

I'm from northcentral WI. I should live in the Twin Cities though; I'm there almost every weekend. You can't beat tax-free clothing and 10,000 shopping malls within a 30 mile radius. grinning smiley I am saddened that I've now been harassed twice at suburban shopping malls by seedy individuals and there's no security to stop it. I actually felt safer in Chicago when I was there for NIN.

I wish I could live on the North Shore of MN - awesome, awesome place. Hwy 61 is one of those drives you need to take at least once in your life. I actually spent my honeymoon in Grand Marais, MN in JANUARY 2006. Nothing like a fireplace and a big ass lake outside the window, and it was actually pretty warm. It was around 30-40 degrees.

I was just in the Twin Cities on July 11th for Green Day at the Target Center. I know a lot of people either hate them or refuse to admit they like them, but I've been a fan since I was 14 and I waited 15 years to see them in concert, and it was worth every penny! THEY PLAYED FOR 3 HOURS. It's amazing to see a headliner do anything beyond 2 hours, and to still see them pull up fans on stage after all these years..... very, very cool. I'm hoping NIN can do a 3 hour set when I see them at Wiltern (still can't believe I'm going; I've never even seen an ocean in person.)

Moved from Florida? Thats probably the best move in history as I am totally convinced that Florida is gateway to Hell.

Would anyone be interested in a screening of "the gift" at the Riverview Theater in Minneapolis? I can find out how much it would cost to rent it for one night and we can go from there.

Does anyone here live in Milwaukee. I'm going to Milwaukee on August 7th to go see Primus and was wondering if anyone here would be able to help me out with a place to crash for the night or can direct me to a cheap motel room. If anyone can help me out it would be most appreciated
