Yeah Ike is gonna be a monster. There's a low pressure system that's going to slow it down, which makes it turn more north of Corpus, and gives it time to pick up more heat and moisture from the Gulf of Suck...I saw on CNN that forecasters say it's supposed to make landfall as a category 4.
What's downright fucking STUPID is that my job (I'm a hostess at a restaurant) says we're going to stay open through the weekend, while I'm scheduled Friday and Saturday night. ARE THEY LOSING THEIR MINDS????? First of all, NO ONE is going to come to an expensive restaurant during a fucking hurricane. Second of all, 3 of the walls are all WINDOW. Third of all...I wanna go to San Antonio and stay with Erin!! I don't wanna be here in a hurricane! I'm scared. This is stupid. Ugh. PLUS, I'm supposed to go to the Astros game Sunday afternoon, and the Eagles of Death Metal show Sunday night. I really hope either of those doesn't get cancelled. | |
