LASTEST INFO ON NIN @ OXEGEN 2009 !!!!!

NIN headlines Stage 2 at Oxegen in Ireland on Sunday the 12th of July 2009!!!! I'm elated, and over the moon about this!!!!!!! This is pure class!!!!!

The Killers, Razorlight, and Lady Gaga headline Stage 1. This will make the event more intense for us NIN inclined, while Stage 1 will filter out all the victims that overdose on music tailored for the masses.

So that leaves a very interesting line-up of NIN, Jane's Addiction, The Ting Tings, Katy Perry, White Lies, Starsailor, You me at Six[/b], and [b]The horrors.

I guess there is no reason to go to London's O2, or Amterdam (Holland) now. I think Oxegen 2009 is a real must for all those NIN inclined now!!!!!!!!!!!! If you haven't got your ticket for the festival now, RUN & GET IT NOW, don't just sit there, gooooooo noooooow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This will make all the difference now for those worried about idiots that are too mentally challenged, or never know what its like to have music truelly lift ya to another level emotionally. I feel sorry for those victims who are music fashion fans, for music created by record labells for the masses.

With Trent, we all know he doesn't give a fuck for no one , will never compromise his music, and never pander to over-commersialise his music just to sell a few albums more. FACT.

I hope to see a real Irish NIN massive there, and if I was to drop dead there, at least I will be home.

I think i can guess maybe two reasons going to Amsterdam would be worth while, so i would never suggest that this quaint city would not be worth visiting in the future, and good luck to anyone who's game enough to go & see NIN there (that's loyality).

Yes, I know and admit that Oxegen is definately over-commersialised, but i don't thing that NIN is just a brand. First of all, Trent is very committed to the NIN faithful, and NIN is really a registered trademark.

If Trent exploted the fans like Metallica did in 1993, when they released a 3-CD boxset called 'Live Shit: Binge & Purge', which cost 100 punts at the time, then i would be massively disappointed with the direction of the band.

Also, other musicians have offered their albums free to download, but the catch is, that u must donate to charity. This is just a bit to explotive for me, and maybe too explotive of them to get promotion association to charities.

Even the like of REM, U2 and other groups have pandered to, exploiting politics to increase their own rep. and profile.

Did you see Bono at Obama's inauguration, and REM's promotion of Kerry. Not that i am siding with american republicans..

I think nails are still in the bracket of 'cult group', i haven't come across many nails fans since i took them up in 93-94, no one of the same passion, which as been frustrating, but this site brings us all together, and thats a positive thang.

I've come across so many idiots that think 'hurt' sung by Johnny Cash in his beautiful cover, was his own song and not of Trent original work from the TDS. And they refuse to accept this, and give my hero any cred!.

By the way, they're mostly 'Queen of the Stoneage' fans, other wise known as 'Rip-off rifts F.C'. They start there songs with hendrix and clapton rifts, end the intro guitar solos abruptly, and then conviently drone on with there boring material. Just my opinion, no offense..
