Presale is over. I tried three different browsers and i got the furthest with Internet Explorer... but got stuck. Reason?

(move along, nothing to see here)

Yeah, i don't get it either.

I have some uncertain plans so whatever you guys have, i can't promise to be part of it though i have to admit it sounds very tempting. Everything will be clear(er) when i wake up and some calls are made.

Edit - shit, i was supposed to type City in the second Address line, right? Well, fuck me stupid. It's over now, anyway.

now I'm getting nervous ... if only I could call my keys on a phone .. where the hell did i put them...
no smoking for me btw, but have no problem with others... nice weather would be good for all, damn, I have to leave you. Room cleaning.

04/24/09 1:18 PM

No reason to worry, There will be plenty of tickets.
Right now I have to go help my dad, his Toshiba crashed.
See ya later.

04/24/09 1:53 PM

I fixed it smiling smiley

04/25/09 1:42 PM

What's all this then?

Hey guys, I'm a bit out of the loop. I read the last page or so, but I have no idea what's going on.

So, someone bring me up to speed:
who's going to which concert?

I'm not sure I'll be able to go - wedding + new roof + fixing up the appartment = no days off left for leisure / concerts. On top of that, finances are tighter than a nun's ass. Will have to see after the May events and happenings what my bank account says.
But in either case, if I end up coming to a show, I'd love to join y'all (and maybe Caramell as well).
Milano sounds like the easy way out, what with the organised ride and all, but if you're seriously going to the Budapest show, heck, why not?

04/25/09 4:22 PM

OH HEI ISHTMAIL smiling smiley

Trust me, my finances are even tighter but i want to go to Budapest show because.. Oh hell, i'll just copy-paste it:
perchee posted:
It's a standalone gig (as opposed to Milan's festival) so it's worth trying. Hmm, i did a little checking. Here's the thing:
- if we go with train, the return ticket with Italian IC costs 39 euros, which is less than one stop at Petrol. The downside is we're depended on the train's timetable.
- if we go with a car, we go where/whenever we want to. The downside is, we're responsible for our own trip and there's a cost of gasoline.
- the show is on Friday
- tickets will be available via Croatian (and possibly Slovenian, too) Eventim from this Monday on
- Milan show is in June, Budapest is in July - one more month to save some bucks for the trip
- ana and acerchiata are going to Milan show with Koncerti.net. However i'm ditching it for Budapest show, see reasons above.

That said, i think you should go to Milan show and possibly save yourself about 20 bucks or more. But that's just my quick math.

Regarding today's mini-meet, i'll just retweet it here:
posted:
back home. the company was way better than coffee i had.
I forgot my stomach doesn't go well with cheap bar coffees. Thanks, girls :]

04/25/09 5:40 PM

Any time perchee

It was great to meet you guys, hope we could do this again sometime.

So I'm home after a long ride, bad company on the train, boring girl wouldn't stop talking, couldn't listen to music and so on. (sranje moody smiley)

Hey ishtmail
I hope perchee told you about the Balkan pandas thing.

04/26/09 9:19 AM

Err.. i think i did mention it but it's safe to assume he has more important things to take care of now. I will most likely be in Ljubljana again next week and i'll be meeting him and update him on all stuff going on.

ana, yeah i hated that, too when i used to take trains to college and all. Usually people were minding their own business but sometimes... One would just not want to shut the hell up. Eventually, i learned to say "Now if you'll excuse me, i'm going to listen to my music now" and just ignore everything else. Some long faces were made but it's not like i cared that much.
By the way, wouldn't it be great to have a round of Quake 1 deathmatch one-on-one?

acerchiata - dude, it was nice seeing you, too :] Which one of us is calling Eventim tomorrow?

04/26/09 9:38 AM

Hey, just got home.
Slept till 9(well actually from 3 am to 5:30 i couldn't sleep at all, because I'm not used of the sound of cars passing by). Cleaned my apartment, so next time I'm ready to move.

Great Saturday, sunny and warm, so greatful i could meet you two, ana and perchee. So now that I know the names, pronunciation, background stories, outstanding possession of collections, it really feels like "home" here, among friends. Well, ishtmail, you were not left out of the discussion, so better be there with us on hot summer night of July and bring your spouses guys.

BTW .. read the tweets, saw the TR post here on forum ... what the hell is wrong with some people ...
Day is getting uglier, rain again.

Edit*
oooo, perchee HI, I'm not sure, whether I'm living tomorrow morning or later in a day.
But if the engine doesn't start before 8/9, I'm calling

04/26/09 12:32 PM

Balkan pandas? Dear lord, can there be such a thing?

I'll definitely try and think about both options. To be perfectly honest, Budapest sounds better to me because:
a) it's one month later
b) it's not in Italy (I just hate Italian concerts - people there are so rude)
c) I'll get a day off easier
d) riding with Perchee sounds great (plus, I might have my drivers licence by then, meaning we could take turns driving).

If we go there, maybe we should look into some hostel/cheap hotel options? Somehow driving there, attending a NIN show and driving straight back sounds a bit exhausting to me.
If there's a bigger crowd, we could even look into hiring a van and splitting the costs - if there'd be 7 or 8 of us going, I reckon' it would be pretty cheap, per person.

04/26/09 1:11 PM

oh god..

I'm not suicidal ...

I reread my previous post .. and what the f***?
living?
that was the best error ever
as you supposedly understood .. whether I'm leaving

04/27/09 1:54 AM

Called, looked, no sign of the concert on Eventim's list. Maybe tomorrow, when it's a working day.

Yeah, good point. Everyone's eating chill pill today.

ishtmail, regarding d) point of your last post, if something silly happens and only four of us is going, then i think either acerchiata's Yaris or my Fox will do. Then again, if caramel, Nyx and Tinkerbell (and maybe gorazdl) join us, too, that's 7-8 people.
The hostel idea ain't that bad, too but we have time to think it through.

04/27/09 5:40 AM

Hellooo people!

If you are still looking for tickets on eventim's site, here is the link

04/27/09 6:49 AM

My trip is delayed ... so more time for reading and exploring this place.
(going tomorrow morning)

Uptothesky thumbs up thank you, there's talking that Eventim in Croatia is definitely going to have the tickets, so I wait one more day winking smiley. So you're from Budapest? How magnificient! We might meet then in July.
An ex-yugo-fraternity delegation of 4 /5 (or more) and since the concert is indeed on friday, I say, not to waste the opportunity and let's enjoy the hungarian metropole.

Yep, I'm from there. Actually, I don't live 100% of my time in Budapest, just studying here (graduate in a few months, can't wait, though) oh, and speaking about TR's tweet:"Let's hug" grinning smiley

Good news guys!

Eventim has the tickets, it's not able to see them on the internet.
You have to go to their store and buy them.
I got mine today (presale price). spinning smiley sticking its tongue outsmiling bouncing smiley
For the record I bought GA floor.

04/28/09 1:12 AM

Dobar dan. Dober dan.

Good morning. Eventim.si has tickets for:
35.43 EUR seat
29.19 EUR GA floor

but you have to pay with credit card or by phone.

Since I've forgotten to ask, i don't quite understand how you get the ticket by just paying them, when it's not visible on their site as option.

Ana thank you for all your help.

04/28/09 7:33 AM

Fucking ace! Thanks for good news, acerchiata. (I need to find you a shorter nickname though.)
I kinda planned to go to Ljubljana and eventually to Eventim to get the tickets but i'm getting my hair cut tomorrow afternoon and ishtmail won't be available from Thursday on and i don't feel like driving all the way just to get a ticket, so.. Next week then. I guess.
*looks for excuse

By the way, "by phone" is that meant as paying with moneta? Or is that with credit card but over the phone?

Either way, this is getting quite cheaper-ish. Ticket 29 bucks, possible train ticket 39 bucks and we're all set for under 70 bucks. Now, if we're even going with our cars and rent a room so we don't have to go directly after the show, even better.

Edit* - OH HEI UPTOTHESKY I MISS YOU ON MSN grinning smiley
Speaking of hungarian ladies, i wonder if Blondie from ETS is going, too? I'll ask her.

I hate the fact that I can't leave Bosnia without a visa. So unless NIN comes to Croatia or Serbia, my chances of seeing them this summer are very small :/

Hey there. Since i'm not familiar with these things, how long does/would take you to get a visa? Also, do/would your finances allow it? After all, the gig is in the end of July and it's not even May now. So.. just saying :]

Yeah, I can get enough finances by that time but unfortunately, I need to know someone who is residing in the country which I want to visit so they can send me the letter of guarantee. And then I should take it to the consulate and wait for their decision. It could take them a week or a month (maybe even two).
Of course, I don't know anyone in the countries NIN will visit so I can't even make the first step :/

Does it have to be relative or can it be "penpal from Hungary you'll be finally meeting after five or six years of sending letters"? If that's the case, i'm sure someone would be willing to help you with that. For example, you could make a post in Hungarian fans thread and see what happens. And IF you're doing that, good luck :]
Hope to see you at the show.

By the way, it's holidays so i'll be buying my ticket next week.

04/30/09 10:10 AM

Oh, that's a brilliant idea! I'll call the Hungarian embassy and ask for more details. I got that visa info in February when I was trying to get Italian visa. Maybe Hungary is not so strict about these things smiling smiley

Good day people!
breath the fresh air .. if you have it after 1st may fires...
go play outside .. I've heard tomorrow's gonna rain again...
put some catchy tune and dance...
have the best fucking summer .. and remember it's not over...
Until We Say Goodbye

but just for awhile!

this tune is stuck in my head for days:
Everything is catching up with me
I awake to find I'm not at all where I should be
And it feels I'm getting to the end
And it's hard to figure out what's real and what's pretend

Kaj zganjate depresijo? Stric Trontelj Reznor potrebuje resen odmor. Sploh pa, otrok se ne da delat med 3-mesecnimi turnejami grinning smiley

05/01/09 2:55 PM

It was a beautiful day!
...
now reading the forum, dear GOOOOOOOOD, better missing out for a couple of days.

In ACE *username* je cist OK ... as long it has an 'A'.

Now hopes up for Lights In The Sky playing on tour, magical.

And yeah, Home is still ringin' in my ears...
such an addictive tune.

But I hate that my ipod placed the songs of each album in the wrong order, 'cuz I like listening to them like they are on the LPs. Grrrr, anyone understands ipod technology? Maybe I'll post the problem in the gaming&Tech forum when I come home. I'm so bad and too lazy to figure it out myself, but I did read the instructions and last week The Slip did start with 999.999, now I have Letting You as the first song (The fragile starts with Starfuckers, WT after ATLITW continues with WT, brrr), despite that all the songs were sorted with the correct track numbers.

I'll be in Ljubljana this Wednesday, getting a ticket and killing some time. If anyone feels like joining for a cup of coffee, let me know.
