Just a question and I hope some of you fans/site moderator/specialists on the NIN groove can help me out with this. This is about the transcendental quality of the NIN groove. I was listening to The Great Destroyer and going nuts even though I was quite sober. At the end (like the last minute or so) there's this bit where he sets up this anarchic beat with some counterpoint and stalls. Then he messes it up and changes up the channels. The effect was exhilarating and I was thinking I could listen to this for hours and it would be a serious audio trip. But the albums I have do not parallel this particular effect. I've got some stuff (With Teeth, Year Zero, and of course The Slip) but I haven't found this level of musical trip on anything else. Are there some other remixes or something were dude goes heavy into the channel switching? And if that does not exist, does anyone have any idea of what I'm talking about and would love to hear more of it?
