Yeah..

I live in an ickle village, just inside the M25, so I'm not far from anywhere, really. But we have a Tesco in the lower part of the village and a large Tesco 1.5 miles away in the next town. So we're not gonna starve...

Tesco want to open another Tesco on the village high street!! We have loads of little independent shops and an All Days, we do NOT need a sodding Tescos, we have TWO within very easy reach already!!

The entire village does NOT want a Tesco, but are Tesco listening?

Nope...

Grrrrrr...

(Where's the kettle?)

bloody supermarkets...
in my little patch of East London, I have Asda (what a shithole that store is!), Sainsbury's, Tesco Extra, Lidl (surprisingly good), Tesco Express, Tesco Metro, Co-op, & a bit further down the road another Tesco Metro, another Tesco express... see a pattern emerging...?

oh, & while we're on the subject of tea:

sonisphere is a no-go for me, not a fan of festivals, as i've always maintained.
however, I did venture down to the Croydon Free Festival yesterday, primarily to catch The Damned play, & they delivered a short but blistering set! smiling smiley
I took littlun along, so he can count it as his 4th concert, after Alice Cooper, NIN, & New Model Army! grinning smiley

(& although it was a 'festival', & quite busy, it was comfortable enough for me to enjoy)

He actually tells me that Gary Numan is one of his favourites, & although he fell asleep during NIN last year at the O2 (it was a bit late, bless him!) he woke up just in time to see Numan walk on stage!

I am still planning my big escape; once inheritance money comes through, I'll probably start the ball rolling with visa applications, etc. for Oz.

Funny enough, that's why I'm in the pool (they call it hydrotherapy at the hospital...hehe).

It's the only thing I have to look forward to these days!
