I'm still questioning gigs as well to be honest. I hate being skint. *insert huge rant about how the media screwed up the economy here*

Also, is there a more depressing experience than waking up with a headache? I think probably not.

Urrgh I feel horrible this morning.

Anyway, how's everyone else today?

Well that's always the problem with pop pap, it's so bland, anything else sounds hard!
Wish? I can see why you might have had a bit of a surprise! I still get the shivers when I listen to Last. But that's just me grinning smiley.

As for gigs, no money *sob wail* and I have (non gig induced) tinnitus. Paraphrasing B13, you only get one set of ears, and I couldn't imagine life without music so I'm careful.

As for festivals, I don't want to pay to listen to people barfing outside their tents or into mine, or for bands I think are shite. I'm a proper party pooper.

If there is a thread title highlighted in light grey, what does that mean? confused smiley

And is there a way to "follow" particular threads?

*head starts swimming*

03/07/09 9:05 AM

If, on the index page, the thread title is light grey, there are posts in it you haven't read.

If the thread title is medium grey, you've read all the posts in that thread.

If it's dark grey, it's locked.

As for following the threads, there are RSS feeds, but I am not the one to ask about how that works - my laptop and I have not got the hang of it!

Ha ha ha - I might take you up on that one day! This place just isn;t as simple as The Spiral used to be.... I pretty much only visit this thread grinning smiley It's quite rare that I bother looking round much.

Hope everyone is good. I feel more positive today but I'm not sure why, I think there's only so long that you can sulk for without getting bored lol! My sister is getting married 2 weeks today so I'm gonna concentrate on that and see if I have any luck finding a contract in the meantime. If all else fails I will take the contract from hell if I have to!

Click on the "account" link in the top right and enter what you want in the box that says "custom title" and you're sorted smiling smiley

Anon: You'll be flying round the site in no time - it's really well constructed and everything's fairly straightforward as a result. It makes such a change from what I'm used to on the internet smiling smiley

- Got to your profile.

- Select "account settings", top left corner.

It will come up with your account details: name, address and whatnot.

Top left is your name, below that it says "SETTINGS:", below "account settings" is selected.

To the right of "account settings" is "forum settings".

- Select "forum settings".

- First text entry box is "custom title". Write in there what you want above your avatar and then Save.
