Before I really think about going to Toronto I suppose I should find out if, with a US visa, I can just casually wander into Canada. Does anyone know the answer to this?

You used to be able to. Now you need a Passport. (or is your VISA the same thingy?)

I've got a passport, that's no probs, and will have a visa too (spent the ENTIRE fucking day filling out the application forms - there aren't half some funny questions on that thing). Is that all you need?

Duh! Of course you have a passport...i am not thinking clearly. confused smiley My point was, US citizens used to be able to cross into Canada with no probs/no papers, and now we need passports to do so. So i am guessing your passport will be just fine and dandy. smiling smiley

You realise of course that you shouldn't take my word for it? smiling bouncing smiley

Just tried to look at the forums on my mobile phone.
It wouldn't let me! Told me it reckons this site may contain explicit material and that it didn't know whether I was over 18!

anon - I bought The Slip. Also felt impatient about getting it on my MP3 player so downloaded it as well! In fact, I bought two numbered copies, because by the time I was in Seattle for the show (*loves azonei and elphaba*) the copy I ordered online in the UK hadn't arrived, so I picked one up in a store there, too!

Djred - Any shows in London, Birmingham, Manchester... that's where you'll find me if/when there's a UK tour! smiling bouncing smiley
However, I'm often in Nottingham/Manchester/Sheffield so I'm quite easy to find SOMEWHERE NEARBY and say hello to!
Meet-ups around gigs are awesome, but there's no need to wait for the gigs to get together! grinning smiley

az - stick with ubuntu thumbs up

I live and work in East Anglia and London, but am often in Manchester, as that's where my family is, and Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds etc visiting friends. I zip about a lot. Scotland, Wales and South West England - not so much. Am more than willing to travel to see you guys, though!

Hi I'm new around here, been lurking around for a bit though. Anyway I'm in east anglia so thought I'd set up camp here if that's ok.

Did I hear there was a kettle on?

Speaking of the physical release of The Slip, how amazing is Robin's tone on the DVD version of 'Discipline'!? Pure aural-sex. And how ridiculous is that poncho-thing he is wearing?

My mum had a poncho like that. Which is not a good thing.

Lemon, lemony sunshiny cake right now!

It is?

I like downloads but I like CDs better

My mum did have a poncho that was scarily incredibly like it. In fact, it was the first thing I noticed about the Discipline DVD

Trivia: Discipline's my fave Slip track

It's impossible to be unhappy in a poncho.

Discipline is my favourite track from The Slip too.

You haven't even gone through the initiation yet. Let us see what your opinion is after that.

Actually think it may be rather interesting (and potentially very funny).
