When my daughter became ill (she was left with seizures after viral meningitis), he'd let us know when she was just about to start fitting...he didn't leave her side for weeks. If you're ill or upset, he's there. He spent 2 days in bed with me last week when I came down with the flu and he stayed until I was feeling ok again, it's just what he does.
He's the size of a staffy as well but he really is a gentle giant. I don't give a shit if I have to walk everyday into work until I get paid the end of next month to pay for his op, with all the joy and comfort he's given everyone around him since we've had him, it's the least I can do.
Felix is indeed a legend! What a wonderful feline..and a wonderful, loving owner to boot. Gads, that all pet owners were as great as you, fijjit! i went through similar albeit, chronic illness, many trips to the vet over the years, then ultimately emergency surgery in the eleventh hour. And worth every tear and penny for sure!
Hugs to you and Felix both..hope he bounces back quickly from the surgery..will he then be deaf?
It just warms my heart to know he lives in such a loving home!
Aww, thanks
It shouldn't affect his hearing, but we'll have to make sure his ears are kept extra clean!
Good point....I need to get him in....
