Why let a factory tell you what you "should" sound like?
Buy, or make, a virgo body. Then search for exotic pick ups.
Take out every stock piece, and replace EVERYTHING yourself.

And agreed! Building your own guitar, or anything for that matter, gives you a sense of pride, and hey, it's also fun to do! Plus you have the control over EVERY aspect of the guitar. No sense putting all of your money and trust into someone you will never ever meet into making your guitar for you. Make it yourself dammit! =]

She's beautiful, I heart the Jaguar for its shape for a girl like me they are perfect and the sounds you can create from these guitars are god damn epically insane

However I am extremely fond of Gibsons Im more a gibson girl than a fender girl if I do play a fender I need a fender twin reverb amp....yes I know what your thinking...

Other than that throw me one of these beautiful fragile guitars......what a peice of art they were.

Ohh, someone's a Muse fan. I'd definatley go for a Manson though, they have such a good sound.

I currently have a beautiful Takamine acoustic, a Fender Strat, a Tanglewood bass and a Vintage PRS copy. My favorite sounding and primary guitar is the Vintage. Although a copy it has - to me - a fine sound.

I don't really go by looks, but a nice looking guitars even better.
