Craigslist

I used to get my gear through eBay or Musicians Friend. The downfall is you pay retail or just about even if its used.

Behold the future! Craigslist.com!

You may not find a deal you like right away, sometimes it takes a few months but I scored some sweet sales. Here my 3 favorite purchases from the Tulsa metro. All of them were good conditioned.

Roland Juno-60 - $150! (Seeing these go for $900 on eBay now.)
Yamaha DX-7 II FD - $175
Lexicon Dual Reverb rack - $75

Sometimes you get lucky like I did and someone is parting there studio and have 50 different rack mount units priced to sell. I recommend you stalk your metro on there. Your studio can expand faster then you think. But it causes a wallet shrinking side effect.

Anyone else wants to add what they bought for a steal?

Once scored a Buchla 200e for $800. No joke. Only had to do minor soldering.

Edit:Whoops, I mean 222e.

Craigslist is great. But I have actually had better luck with Ebay. Got a monome 40h for 200 bucks. And on instant buy.
