Burning 5.1 from Logic Pro 8

I have a surround mix that I want to burn to DVD somehow from Logic Pro 8 on a MacBook. How? I've tried using their burn to DVD-A option but won't play. It says it completes just fine. Next, I tried bouncing it to a 5.1 PCM WAV file (24 bit 44100 and interleaved) and dropping it in iDVD. Burned fine, but plays in Stereo L/R ONLY. No options that I can find to switch it. I would assume it's somewhere in iDVD, if at all??

So what program can I use to burn my surround mix onto DVD for listening? Preferably free or included with a Mac, but I'm all ears either way.

Can't you do it straight from Logic though? Somehow? Somewhere over the rainbow?

Supposedly. You can go to export and burn a DVD-A but they don't play. Burns fine though. I dunno! I have researched it and a lot of people have the same issue. Doesn't seem to work right.

Have you got either Compressor or A.Pack?

Then, I can help...

I think I have Compressor but not installed and don't really want to. It's honestly not that big of a deal for me just yet. I was just trying to re-mix some old Pink Floyd Quad stuff and burn to dvd-a but no biggie. I'm not into it enough to keep installing programs to test. Perhaps if I had a bigger/faster machine!

Thanks anyways, I'll probably just hold off for now on it. But it sucks that the burn option built-in doesn't seem to work correctly. I'm apparently not the only one with the issue.
