i'm not sure about the download, but the vimeo video was getting out of sync towards the end of the video.

Seems it goes out of sync by about a second right around the beginning of Closer.

I noticed that too.

I'm a loser and so just quoted myself.

Here's the MPlayer link for Macs...apparently there are two: [mplayerosx.sourceforge.net]

I just tried to play the video in MPlayer and it's not working at all. It loads but no video ever plays. Suggestions?

That's a very old package, no longer maintained.

Finished downloading the Victoria MP4 and it plays beautifully in Quicktime, VLC and Windows Media Player 11 on WinXP...

Downoad the Cole2K codec pack and the files will play without any issues smiling smiley

Mmmm Gracias. I figured something wasn't right.

EDIT: I think the fact I'm still running Tiger might be the issue. No Leopard yet...hmmm....there must be a viable solution to this.

Double EDIT: Opened in VLC like I should have from the start. Works perfect. Thanks.

Adobe Premiere is pretty fun. I feel the same with my FCP. Good luck!

I just glanced at my download for the full Sacramento show....536 days and counting. I think I'm going to go try this on my PC...

01/09/09 10:52 AM

Yeah, I'm not even going to try this for another week or so. I'll get the full audio extract when that comes out, which should hold me over just fine.

I love the light show.

Yeah...I was on the rail at both the concerts I went to...so it is a real treat to see all the lighting effects that you obviously can not see when you are 5 feet from the stage.

And the audio...my god!!! So nice not hearing fans singing off key in your ear or random shouts. Also, just a lot of elements that are crisp and clear...I never noticed them at the shows I was at.

This is the fucking best!!! Thank you Trent, Again!!!

01/09/09 11:22 AM

I've seen'em only one time, just before the release of Year Zero, in Lille, France where I live.

Small hall, only few lights (which were at least very very good!), no screen, etc...
But it was a really great, basic show, even if it's nothing compared to what they did on LITS tour!!

Anyway, do anyone know if there's an european version of the tour scheduled for 2009?

Hi all. Im working for the University of Leeds CS department. I am hoping to use our fat pipe and our vision machines to get this compressed and out to the public but Im concerned about the legality, or rather, my school is. Downloading is the only problem really. Once its down I've already got permission to use our beast to get it corrected and edited. So can someone confirm that the nasty net police wont totally come down on us for grabbing it?

This is what blows my mind the most, you can perfectly tell apart all the layers of countless instrumentation and vocals. Simply AMAZING!!!

it's announced via nin.com, one has to download the .torrent file from download.nin.com, and the torrent-tracker is at tracker.nin.com - i don't know how more official and therefore legal this could be. if not, they should arrest trent at first grinning smiley

trent and company gave it to us so you can do just that. that is the whole point. please do compress it and make it accessible to everyone. nothing will happen to you. =]

and it would be awesome if you could release all three shows separately instead of editing footage of all of them together in one. i was at portland and i would love to see just portland. thanks!

From what I recall, there will be a European Tour, but not the elaborate production that was LITS.

If by a European version of the tour with all the same production I think the answer would be no, but Trent did make it clear earlier on in a NIN.com post that the band was rehearsing for the AUS/NZ dates with more US, UK, and Europe announcements on the way.

Question about the downloading process. I'm using a MacBook Pro with an external and just regular Bit torrent. I have a PC which handles uTorrent but my external is only formatted for a Mac. Aside from just waiting for the seeds to increase, what can I do to increase the speed of the download. At the moment it's going to take 63 days... I really want to help and try to edit something together for the final video, hence my questions. Thanks.

I suggest talking to a lawyer first, but yeah, it seems like as long as you don't try to sell it for a profit, you're safe.

Yes please! If anyone needs assistance (not technical, I barely know how to turn a computer on but financially or whatever) with getting 3 vids out, please let me know. I would really like to see these shows in their entirety, not chopped up and edited into 1 video at others' discretion.

And thanks, earlive! Although watching these only makes me even more pissed that I have to watch this awesomeness from my f*cking computer instead of in a theater.

From a form nin.com post. Doesn't mention a European Leg, but I remember this being mentioned in an interview. It does address the stripped down aspect of the 09 shows though, reiterating what I said about it not being LITS.

I’d like to thank Josh and Alessandro for being an integral part of this for the last few years and I wish them all the best.

No rest for the wicked here, though. We start rehearsing the new band/format first thing next year and as I mentioned, we’ll be announcing some final waves of dates. North America, UK/Europe, Pacific Rim and elsewhere.

Oh yeah - we may have a small holiday gift for you soon. Check back.
