Dear Mr Sheridan: Would you please encourage all advanced users to put all this wonderful stuff in a accesible format?, and once this done, Would you please share the link or something for download it with us?

And Mr Reznor: I didn't knew this from you. You must not pay attention to subversives... awful people!

for comcast users (such as myself unfortunately) i read up on the new 250gb monthly cap. they state that the first time you go over the 250gb monthly cap they will contact you to give you a warning and look into ways to keep you from going over the cap in the future.

now, if you go over the cap for a second time within a 6 month time frame, that is when they will take more serious action and suspend you from being able to have cable modem through comcast for 1 year.

some of you may not be willing to do this... as for myself, i have no problem getting my warning in order to d/l all 404gb of hd nin live loveliness. when they contact me to ask why i went over the cap i'm going to be completely honest and state that my favorite band since i was 12 years old (days away from being 29 years old currently) put up, for free and legal to d/l, hd footage of their last 3 live shows to edit/view/play with how i see fit. i'll also advise that this isn't something that can be purchased in stores.

finally, just want to say to trent the whole nin crew, this was the greatest live performance i have ever experienced, and probably ever will. it also happened to be my new wife's first live concert she had ever been to!

trent and company.... thank you for your art and all the hard work you put into it.

respectfully,

cody hall

I'm right along with you. I'm going one step further. If fuckcast tries to cap me they are getting a cancel notice from me since I've been thinking about going back to ATT DSL for a while and DirectTV. I pay these fucktards enough money since I have the triple play package. The way to make them feel pain, if more people would just say fuck you and leave their service (if you have other stuff available).

Well, I already have an email out at work looking for a Dual QuadCore Mac Pro with a 30inch Cinema Display. Final Cut Pro isn't an issue (learning it might be). I'm hoping that I will get a reply soon. By the way, I saw someone on here post about using iLife'09 to edit some video, don't even bother. No multi-video track, it would be extremely difficult to do, not to mention the need for FCP for iMovie to even recognize the video format.

Did anyone else notice how low Robin's guitar was on Piggy from Sac part 2? Josh is really loud and during the shows that I saw (LA, LV), they were both really loud. Was this just at the Sac show or is it the recording or am I just (not) hearing things?

Maybe this is a dumb question/comment... if so, then forgive me.

I think it's cool that the fans at 'thisoneisonus.org' are mixing their own edit with fan-generated footage.

However, given that the 400+GB of footage comes with pre-synced sound, pre-arranged cuts in Final Cut Pro, etc. Why does it seem like no one is discussing just taking those elements and finalizing it into a mix they way it has been arranged? Everyone keeps talking about "I'm going to do my own edit, blah blah..." which is great... but I'd just like to see the mix that was released.

It seems to me that NIN has pretty much released a DVD of three shows, but instead of the final product they released the pieces (legal reasons I'm sure) and we just need to assemble them, then watch and enjoy. Right?

Sounds sensible to me.

Even though I saw NIN 11 times in 2008, I really wanted to go the the December 7th show - my 50th birthday. Sadly, the great distance between New York and Oregon, and the lack of practicality of the matter, prevented my birthday wish from coming true.

Now, it has. Now I will OWN the show. I can make make my very own video, where I get to focus on all MY favorite moments. I can't wait.

Step one: download the software
Step two: download the portland show
Step three: hope my Mac can handle it.

We'll find out…eventually.

I think it would be smarter if one of us mailed one USB drive (with the 405GB ) to a user in AUS, then that AUS user would make copies of the drive and take care of distribution within AUS. That would cut down on shipping time and cost. Regardless, I'll have all 405GB's in 5 days, just started downloading everything tonight. I'm loving it that FIOS has no bandwidth cap!
405gig in 5 days???? WHOA, that's massive!!!!!! eye popping smiley
