HEY FOLKS! Since a few of you guys n' gals liked what I did with the Victoria audio (converting them to mp3, separating the tracks, editing the tags, and putting them up for you to download) I had a few free hours this evening and now I have the Portland show done exactly the same way. If you're a NIN bootleg completist, then this will be right up your alley!

Also, a few people had some problems with the Victoria track numbers not showing up, so I tried to solve that problem with these Portland files. If they show up, LET ME KNOW. If they don't show up... LET ME KNOW! I'm no pro at this and I'm doing the best I can, so I'm just trying things until I find what works.

Therefore, I present this to you exactly the same way I did the Victoria audio files... Enjoy and I hope you all have a great weekend!

-Rob

Just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone here that worked so hard to get these audio files out for downloading. I just put the full Sacramento show on my iPod (BIG thanks to laho for that), and it sounds absolutely beautiful (and there's even track listings and album art- awesome).

I wish I was a tech-head like you guys because I would LOVE to know how to do HALF of the things being done! (Speaking of, how DO you become a tech-head? Amazing.) Really really awesome- thanks again so much!

I don't really have any goodies to add/share, being a video-editing illiterate...however, I felt the need to come on here and thank all the NINers who have contributed to this effort. It's greatly appreciated. smiling smiley

NINcompoop, you fucking made my week! I listened to the Victoria show non-stop at work. grinning smiley

No problem, i reuploaded part3 and part11, they were screwed up, i forgot to upload part 4 and 5, now im going to upload them, my internet is a bit slow today(storm) so it'll take 1hour.
Question, did you download part 3, 5 and 11 without any problem? You said you couldn't download only part4 . But some people said they couldn't download part 3 4 5 and 11. Well you should be able to download part3 and part11 now, and in a while part4 and 5.

01/17/09 5:34 PM

OK I just got done to finally blasting the Portland show and it is FANTASTIC...all but the girl screaming "Trent I Love You!!" that has got to go. That kind of screaming during a song like that (In This Twilight) is UNACCEPTABLE!!! Anyone working on Audio, don't use that on the DVD. There should be some respect during songs like this and Hurt and what not.

01/17/09 6:55 PM

Well i uploaded all the parts, now it should work fine.

I Think This Is The Low End Of This Project. Its Killer We Have All This HD Footage. But If We Want To Remove Some Of That Stuff We Would Need Another Source To Fill In That Space. Which Brings Me To Think That If We Could Have Got Multi Tracks Of Some Of The Instruments
It Would Be Easier To Eliminate All That Audience Chatter Durring Parts That Are Lower. And I Would Think Studio Dubbing Is Out Of The Question.

On Another Note,I've Upmixed
Sacramento To 5.1 Using Plogue Bidule, And Seems As If Some People Are Having A Tuff Time Using The Upmixes. So If You Liked The Way It Sounded, I Can Redo It And Share Each Channel Separate, For Each Song, For Experts Only.

So If Anybody Feels The Dvd Should Have A Surround Mix Option, Please Express Our Input. After All, This Is For All Of Us.

Thanks

Holy fucking shitballs! I've been watching some of the footage that's up on youtube/vimeo and it's amazing. I can't WAIT to get my teeth into editing this!

Big thanks to everyone involved in this for, well, being involved in it! thumbs up

Got 20GB now, so better get studying the footage closely winking smiley

how many sources have you used for your 5.1 mix? im working currently on one, using 5 sources (sacramento) and im using sony acid6.

and if you wanna eleminate the chatter, comeon ;D is it that difficult to remove chatter? you just need a spectral-repair winking smiley but in my opinion that shouldnt be done. its the concert as it is, nothing should be changed. the mix is superb, its acutally better then most live cds that you buy (except classical or jazz). the drums are clear and punchy, the vocals are a bit too loud in my opinion, the audience could be around 2-3db louder, but thats all winking smiley

Oh Well I Was Going To Post My Portland 5.1 Mix.

What's stopping you from posting it? You've put work into it and are obviously proud of it since you mentioned it. Perhaps people making their own DVDs would like to use it.
