Here's a torrent for the extracted ISO file. I'm seeding. Y'all should seed too.

mininova

Hopefully I did it right and it solves the problems people are having extracting.

HUGE thanks to sardopsycho for making this. The DVD is fucking SWEET!!! I'm excited for v2.0 when it hits in a few weeks

edit: FYI, you may have to run this through an extraction program like winrar. After that it should work with any DVD burning program. I ran the file through DVD Shrink, which then burned with DVD Decrypter

Thank you everyone - I am so glad you all enjoy it - NOTE - no need to run it through DVD Decrypter or anything like that - unless you want to watch it in a different format or something - standard DVD+R will work perfectly lol. But I am glad you are all enjoying it!!! It has been my pleasure producing this video for you!

i had to run mine through DVD shrink to get it to work. I'm not sure why. the couple of other burn programs i have wouldn't load the file. My guess is they have some bullshit copyright lock built in or something. So, i mentioned it in case someone else has the same problem.

Thanks again!

I tried burning the iso file twice, with two different burning programs, and neither disc would play...any ideas?

01/29/09 7:01 PM

make sure you are not burning a multisession disc?

01/29/09 8:17 PM

I just tried it again with DVD Decrypter, and it works fine...Thanks!

01/29/09 10:09 PM

Weird, the extracted ISO I got is a different size from the one the torrent creates. I've already done the downloading, I just want to seed damnit!

01/30/09 11:10 AM

Thanks. Will download it asap.

01/30/09 1:59 PM

The torrent isn't goin as fast as I'd like. I only need files 18 and 28 from the original files, but the links seem broken...

A little patience goes a long way ^^, all workin and dwnloading now

Thanks for the DVD and all of your work, I do appreciate it, so don't take this the wrong way. But a couple points for ver 2.0

- Fix the aspect ratio, it appears to be non-anamorphic 16:9 in a 4:3 frame
- the video is very highly compressed

The 2 DVD version of Sacramento put out by suprefan has proper aspect ratio and superb picture quality. My guess is the biggest difference is 2 DVDS allows for much less compression.

Keep up the good work and looking forward to 2.0

Okay..... I am trying my... third? attempt at burning this DVD. I am using Sonic Digital Media LE v7 and since I cannot get it to burn under a DVD file format I am trying (again) to burn it as a Data Disc. This is so frustrating! I had my computer custom built for making music, and movies, and the other main focus of this system was the ability to be able to burn CD's & DVD's. The thing is that in the three years I have had this system I have NEVER been able to burn a DVD! **With the exception of a data disc from the 8-12-2008 NIN LITS show in Knoxville TN, I got it to burn as a data disc but my PS3 was the only player that I could get to play it (beside my CPU). But even then I could only watch the data disc of the Knoxville show two-three times max before my PS3 would reject it saying that the data was corrupt and then I'd have to burn another copy and the cycle just kept repeating over and over!!! -sigh....

***Oh and while I'm at it here's this latest "hang-up" from my attempt to download the LITS files from Rob:***

--- !!!!!!! HELP !!!!!!! ---

I have tried to download all three of the torrent files that Rob linked on the first page of the HD downlaod links forum. I cannot get ANY of them to load, connect, download, or anything else like that at all. I am opening the links up with LimeWire and it gives me this message:

(LimeWire was unable to load the torrent file "Nine_Inch_Nails_Live_Video_2008_12_05_Victoria_BC.torrent" -it may be malformed or LimeWire does not have permission to access this file.)

I really don't understand what in the hell the problem is here. I may or may not have downlaoded "things" from LimeWire before, and if I ever had downlaoded any thing from LimeWire I have NEVER had ANY trouble downloading before. I browsed through a few various forums related to "the gift" threads and so far, have not seen that anyone else has posted any problems with actually getting the download to... well, download! PLEASE, if any one can help me I would be extremely greatful! Thanks!

(In case this helps with anything; I am running the following system-)

Dell XPS 400
Windows XP Media Center Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 3
Dual Core Intel Pentium 4 HT Processors

**And I have a 10 meg broadband ISP**

As far as I know, limewire doesn't support torrents. I actually haven't used limewire since I discovered torrents. You need to use a torrent program. I use utorrent, which is free. this will allow you to download from the torrent I made of the DVD.

utorrent site with free download

I have never been able to make a video dvd with the software that came with my computer. I have roxio, a windows one, and my other computer has the sonic digital one. Since sardopsycho doesn't have any copyright stuff on the file, I have come to the conclusion that they just plain will not let you burn a video copy of a file. Unless you make a slideshow off your own pictures. I use DVD shrink, which sets up a burn, and uses DVD decrypter to burn. both are free.

DVD Shrink

dvd decrypter

I ran the ISO file through this and it worked great.

Hope this helps.

Thanks man! I am/ was currently watching the data disc of the DVD and the only problem I am having is that it is broken up into four separate files. So, I have to load the next (which isn't a big deal all I have to do is click) but this breaks up the fluidity of the DVD.

**So what do I need to do or where do I need to go to download these files from Rob so I can attempt to make version of this on my own???**

-MUCH THANKS!

I'm not sure why everyone is having such a problem with burning, it worked fine for me. No need to use DVD Decrypter or DVD Shrink, just burn the image with some decent burning software and you're ready to go. I use Nero Lite (hint it is out there in hyperspace hint), associate the .iso file type to run with Nero and then all you have to do is double click the .iso and click burn, wait 5 mins and you're done.

I've got 115kB/s of my upload dedicated to this torrent, will seed till v2.0 comes out.

BTW, thanks sardo smoking smiley

01/31/09 3:35 PM

I just finished watching it...... God Damn! Many thanks to Sardopsycho for compiling this masterpiece in such a short time. I'll be seeding this torrent for the next couple days so that everyone gets to enjoy this.

01/31/09 4:46 PM

Started the torrent...............

02/01/09 2:01 PM

For the folks having trouble - I am not sure why...it might be the DVD-burning program you are using - You can try the DVD-Shrink / DVD-Decrypter method and see if that works for you - but this is a standard ISO, I created the image, then used Nero Burning ROM -AND- BurnAware Free to test it - both discs came out perfect. I have also come across some people actually burning the ISO file to a disc - and that will definately NOT work lol. If you are still having problems, download BurnAware Free - you can get it from burnaware.com or search for it on download.com. It's small, and will let you burn a standard ISO file for a DVD. You should not have any problems..if you do, I am not really sure what you are doing...

Hope this helps a little bit...

02/01/09 3:22 PM

i get to about 2.5% on the torrent and it says "files missing from job, please recheck". I keep forcing a recheck but it does this every time I've tried to download (tried both Utorrent and bittorrent downloaders). BTW, thanks seeders, it only takes me five minutes to get to 2.5. I'm going to try this on a different PC but if anyone could help, that'd be great.

02/01/09 3:37 PM

Awesome! Downloading now grinning smiley

Thanks again , can't wait for version 2!

02/02/09 1:34 PM

This DVD is sweet, thanks a ton! I like the one camera view, it's like you are sitting in the seats right there at the concert. Is this just video from Victoria?

02/03/09 5:58 PM

Got done downloading last night and burned the ISO today. Stupid Roxio didn't want to burn it, so I installed the Nero that came with my Dual Layer burner and it worked like a charm.

GREAT WORK! Thanks for investing your time in this, and can't wait for the multi-angles....

02/04/09 3:45 PM

this is pretty bad ass!
I;m seeding..

02/04/09 7:31 PM

I got the torrent. Excellent work! Will continue to seed!

02/23/09 12:34 AM
