Wave Goodbye 6/5/09-6/7/09 DVD

I decided i thought it would be cool to make a DVD documenting the Wave goodbye tour.
My friend and i got some equipment, and headed out to three of the east coast shows; Camden, Holmdel, and Jone's Beach. I had a PCM recorder, and he had an HD Video camera. We both had shitty point and shoots, too.

I figured with all the stuff we recorded, i would make a DVD like the community did for LITS. When i thought about it some more, i figured why should i just use the stuff we took? Why not ask a few others who were out there for some help too - i know there are plenty of you out there!

So, here goes. If anyone has any WAV/FLAC audio recordings, or high-definition videos (720p or higher) from any of the three shows, and would like to contribute to my little project, please do PM me!

If there turn out to be a good deal of contributions and some interest, my friend and i will do our best to edit the stuff together and put out a nice little DVD featuring those three shows of the tour.

I really hope this works out for you guys! I live in New Jersey and being a high school student with no job I couldn't afford to go to any of these shows, I would of went to Camden if I was going though. Check [www.reflectinginthechrome.com] for info on if there is available audio or video sources for those shows. (At the moment it all three of them say nothing about audio or video, it might just mean that Ryan didn't update the site yet.)
He also said he himself taped and/or recorded the shows from this weekend (I think his post ment the shows this weekend, sorry if I'm wrong >_< )
You should hit him up with an email or PM, his nin.com member name is RyanJ if I remember correctly.

I took a little bit of footage of the Camden show, but it wasn't HD. Let me know if you'd be interested (maybe as some 'raw' cut-scenes). I did get some good footage of 'The Good Soldier' from the soundcheck. I was right on the rail recording with a still camera that said it recorded video in 720p (the other footage I got was using a standard def video camera). I've been having a hard time posting the video to the web, but perhaps I could send you a thumb-drive of it? Either way, I'd definitely be interest in a copy of your finished product. Fun project!

Check the Live Recording Thread in the Collector's Forum, there is, I think it is, FLAC audio from Holmdel.

Sounds awesome! Those are 3 of the 4 shows I went to on this tour so it would be amazing to have a DVD of them.

I shot most of the Camden show on mini-dv from the pit. I used an external mic. The audio is very good. I plan on transfering it to DVD soon. Let me know if you are interested.

I shot the whole 6/5/09 Camden NIN set (except for band intros: had to switch batteries) w/ a 720p camcorder from the back of the pit. Check either Dime A Dozen or Halo-zero.org for the torrent, it's posted on both. Although it's DVD quality, it's at least a sample. I'm willing to donate the .MOV master files to any NIN/JA multi-cam project. pm me if anyone wants them....

Glad to see all the offers for content here. With a little luck, we can turn this into a really awesome project. Here's to hoping i don't run out of hard drive space! :-P

Thanks for everything so far, guys!
I'll try to keep you all posted on the progress.

Yeah! I think it would be cool if you tapped into whatever bank RITC have for those shows and do a definitive edit for that part of the tour. Would be awesome!

I'd probably recommend getting at least a 500GB HD - if not 1TB!

This will rock - especially for people like me that are a million miles away from the closest nin concert this year.

I am new here, and although I cannot offer anything, I would love to see this since I was at the Holmdel show.

Is there somewhere you can watch the finished project before downloading it?
