Hello folks!

Here you can download the "final chapter" of my Nine Inch Nails Live : Lights in the Sky over Victoria Multicam Edit.

After all that time i had the idea off creating a very high end/high quality encode in x264/720p/Film(24p) together with an AC-3/448 kbps audio stream inside a Matroska video container. But the highlight is, that the video is FULL Mini Blu-Ray compatible! It fits a DL DVD-R perfectly after remuxing it.

You can read all affordable steps on my website - but don´t be afraid, remuxing is lossless without any need of re-encoding the sources! It takes max. 10-20 minutes to build a Mini BR from the Matroska file!

If you compare the source/x264 encode it is very hard to find any differences! On my LCD-TV/BR Player combination at home it looks awesome!

So have fun with this final release! Personally this is the version i will keep on my external HD for archiving.

For the coders among us, here you can look at the video file info. Also you can see, that the file is at version 6 - sometimes it takes some rounds to be satisfied with the end product

After i have watched the awesome Webster Hall Downward Spiral DVD from the NIN-Hotline and thisoneisonus.org on my iPhone, i had the idea to encode my edit for Apples cool mobile phone. I will start this week, and i will post download links when it is done.

I tried to and it didn't work. Although, at that point I was using an incomplete file due to extraction errors and didn't realize it. By the time I got everything extracted w/o errors I had read a lot about AVCHD and BD9 and decided to set tsmuxer to avchd. At that point, your directions probably would have worked just as well...

Yes, i am very sorry for that, but i had to stop seeding because my fuckin´ ISP has closed my connection. I am looking for a new "Server" in this days and when i am back online, i will restart seeding the torrents.

For now, have a look at my x264 edit. It has a very good image quality, the drop between the MPEG-2 1080i and the 720p x264 version is very very hard to notice. Give it a try and enjoy it.

Like i said, i will report here when my new torrent server is online.

Just wanted to let everyone know it looks like someone jumped on with the completed 1080i file, I don't know if it was you palmer or someone else, but I got the whole file and I'm seeding as often as I can. There are a few others seeding now as well.

palmer666, I downloaded this last night using the Rapidshare links on your site. My house is wired with CAT5 and I use a Popcorn Hour A-110 to stream MKV's from my PC to my 60" Pioneer Kuro plasma. I loaded up your MKV last night and my jaw dropped. I had been wanting for someone to make an amazing HD multi-cam edit like this and yours delivers! MKV and with chapters? Awesome! This is something I'll watch over and over again! Thank you for making such a great edit and utilizing the MKV container.
