I don't know what the pic is, but I'll agree again about Last. It seems fitting.

WE'VE CHOSEN A TITLE !

After taking all of your suggestions into account we've finally decided on a title for the project :

nine inch nails : [ after all is said and done ]

We thank you all for your suggestions and congratulations to user "Kyan" for submitting the winning title.

NOW FOR ANOTHER SURPRISE :

the project will be released as:

[ blu-ray : dvd : torrent ]

quite a few people have approached us inquiring whether the project will be released in dvd format as well. given how vocal the demand for the format has been, we've decided to release not only as a blu-ray and torrent, but in dvd format as well, for all those loyal nin fans who don't have a blu-ray player (we really suggest you get one, though - the footage is that good.)

AND FINALLY...

We need YOUR help ! Please help us get the word out by becoming a fan of the project ...

HERE on our brand new FACEBOOK PAGE

And thanks to everyone for their tremendous support on this project !

oh, thank you very much for the DVD format...I think that in about a year almost everyone will have blu-ray players (their cost is a little too high now, except for PS3), but for now it's nice to think that we will see the show even in our DVD

I like the title, good luck for the work guys!

I am psyched about a blu-ray version of this! I would suggest that the DVD version be TWO Dual layered discs in order to preserve the quality. Putting 3 hours, 20 minutes on to 9GB is going to create quite a bit of artifacts in the video quality, especially considering the liberal use of fog and strobe lights. I don't mean to sound too picky or unappreciative. I'm sure whatever your team comes up with will be great.
I'm glad that Chris Nichols is on your team. My brother and I got a chance to meet him at the Wiltern show. He's very down to earth, wickedly funny and has a pretty impressive resume in video editing.

Peace,

Discussions regarding maintaining the absolute highest quality possible have ben an item of central focus in our project meetings, and remain of paramount importance for myself and the rest of the group. That being said, DVD's in and of themselves have inherent limitations, as their maximum output resolution is at 480p. (Please see my earlier post re: dvd's vs. blu-ray). We will work within those confines to put out the absolute highest quality DVD possible, and if that means it will become a double dvd project, then that's what it will be. We will make no concessions regarding quality, whatsoever.

Thanks brother. I will be purchasing one DVD, one Blu-Ray and hosting torrents 24/7. I am digging the title, too! Good Luck.

Though we're getting more of them...

We still need more LEFT Side HD sources. If you know of anyone who might filmed either the Fonda or the Wiltern in HD, please put them in contact with us.

Thanks in advance everyone.

Where does one go to sign up to purchase a blu-ray of this DVD? Is there a wait list?

Placing Orders

People will be able to place orders on the soon-to-be-completed project website. The website itself will have a link to an order placement form which people can fill out with the appropriate information and they will then be contacted when the blu-ray/dvd is ready to be shipped. In the meantime, we kindly ask that you do not email or PM us regarding an order you want to place, because we just won't be able to keep track of it.

Are you still accepting artwork for the bluray/dvd? Are you just looking for cover art, or disc art as well? Please let me know, thanks!

yes. we're looking for cohesive concept art that would encompass not only the cover and the discs, but perhaps (if we like the design enough) the menu elements on the blu-ray/dvd itself, and the website.

I might get a Blu Ray player JUST for this.

I look forward to getting a copy of this...

Will we see a .m4a release for iTunes?

11/29/09 7:56 PM

Will there be an audio rip for this like the TOIOU folks did for AVOTT?

11/30/09 9:17 AM

I've not been able to read through all the posts but did I see that if we're willing to pay international costs, that you will ship outside the US? I wouldn't mind having a copy of the Blu Ray. I live in England...

Thanks in advance
