This whole thing is a tricky situation though... not sure if I can sign for it because I don't legally own everything in this project and I definitely don't want to get in trouble with it. In all likelihood, UMG probably wouldn't give two shits about a free showing of this at UCSB, but if you could work out something else (a different venue that doesn't need that sort of permission?), then it'd be better.

They have that big projection screen in the bar for when they do movie screenings (Brew and View) and the like...I bet you anything if enough people were interested, they'd let us use it for a night! There might be a ticket charge or something, but then again--maybe not! As they'll be getting money from alcohol sales. Has there been any progress anywhere else?

Two tickets per person, under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian (drafthouse rules). The event is free but you must have a ticket! See you crazy kids there

I'll wait until she has it confirmed on friday until it's announced officially though. @bluespoon - Some sort of Haiti Fund would be a pretty cool thing to incorporate into the screening.
