The internet connection was down the other day and resorted to watching The Twilight Zone, my brother had uploaded a boatload for me. But one show in particular caught my eye, first broadcast on January 1, 1960:

The Four of Us Are Dying

On tonight's CSI:NY (a repeat, apparently), the YZR mix of "Meet Your Master" during a montage sequence. (Amused me greatly, as I only caught this after being unable to sit through the rest of It's A Wonderful Life and channel-surfed onto CBS at just the right time. Apparently my NINspotting sense was tingling.)

That's very interesting, sonus. Could this be the source of his song title?

I've decided to let my tv selectivity take a break for the holidays and allowed myself to fill my head with reality tv trash. So today I was flipping channels and found myself watching a show called RockStar Supermodel. The first thing the models had to do was emulate a rock icon in a photoshoot (One of them was Lindsay Lohan doing Marilyn Monroe. Uh... very rock n' roll indeed). One guy had to do TR from the WT era.

You can see the results for yourself here, somewhere in the middle of the clip.

Got this link the other day from a friend saying "haha isn't this the band you're always going to see in concert??"

What’s your overall take on your Charm School experience? Was there any joy involved?

Overall, it was a waste of my time. I enjoyed the free alcohol (of course), but other than that, I could do without it. I told Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails where I was going and he said, “But Dallas, you are already charming enough.” I think that said it all.

Dear Trent Reznor:

Stay away from my reality shows!

Trent wraps up 2008 and mentions his two meetings with Trent:

Hiya, Orchid! I've been watching a few shows every night, LOVE IT, and I'm listening to that song right now from iLike. smoking smiley

My NIN Spotting is Head Like A Hole played at the gym yesterday. It gave me strength when I added 20 lbs for squats. My ass is on fire today. LOL

I'm not sure when this episode aired, but I was at my sisters place and she was watching Gossip Girl, and one character mentioned to another something along the lines of "The last time I saw you was in 95' on the back of a Nine Inch Nails tour bus with Trent Reznor". I giggled, and my sister told me to be quiet. LMAO.
