I imagine the food being fabulous?! Anyway that does look like awfully high waters...is that normal. Have they even repaired the Levy (sp?) to satisfaction?

Akayla member Joined: 04/28/08 Posts: 721	Oh two of my favorite things to eat. I had never eaten gumbo until this girl in school made it and brought it into class. She was displaced after Katrina and made some for us to bring in a little flavor from home. It was awesome.

(missed the update) don't the crayfish belong out there in the swamp somewhere alive and at peace? we're not that close to starvation. they're sort of the acquatic version of cockroaches aren't they?, and most people don't eat those. i'm figuring anyone who's a good enough cook could make a great vegan gumbo, tho'... : ) ?] Edited 1 time(s).
