missylitt posted:tonesource202 posted:missylitt posted:^^^^^^^^^^^^^WTF? OK, so it has come down to stupid ass questions, or ones that ppl should pretty much know the answers to already. When really, most of the good questions have been asked already. But since it's Trent you guys can't stand to just vote on one, but instead post the same questions over and over, or ask some completely ignorant or insigficant crap. Sorry to be the Biotch today, but I just figure as NINers I thought you guys were more mature than that. Some of it is just disrespectful.
if you've got the time and disposition to read each and every question before submitting your own, unique question - good luck to you. you forget that some people are treating this with a sense of humour and possibly are genuine amidst their seemingly "ignorant and insignificant" "crap" - it just doesn't fit with the accepted whatever we're all supposed to follow as serious fans. stuff that. an interview, if it's to be at all interesting across the board and not just to the hardcore crew should have some diversity. I for one don't want to read techie/ business plan blah meh stuff. there's more to it than that. and if that all the interview is about, why present it as a free for all? can't have it all ways. we'll get whatever the majority of NIN fans who care to DIGG will allow us - more's the pity. perhaps Trent could demand a few off-beat questions - at least he won't fall asleep.
rant over.
heehee, opinions are like assholes everyone has one! =D I see what your saying. I think ppl should look through the questions yeah, see if it has been asked already. That's all. Seems like some are the same just worded diff, but that's why you vote! So, ignore my little post! Sorry I said anything. This is nin.com I should've known better, yeah?
nice comeback! backing down here, partly. the whole DIGG format is flawed, as someone on DIGG just pointed out. perhaps mr rose will address some of these issues, perhaps not - it's his baby. everyone here wants a pop at this, not everybody has the patience to see if it's original or not. yes, there are some really weird questions there, but mistaking apparently frivolous questions as disrespectful isn't always fair, though. but life's not fair, so, yes, I expect a bog-standard, keep it clean interview that will not enlighten anybody who hasn't already read anything Trent has already said about stuff. do we need another one of those? perhaps. I must learn to read the smallprint.
but back to the point - don't ever apologise to anyone at nin.com unless you've been an arse - which you haven't - I merely stated my opinion, and you stated yours. we both have arseholes, it doesn't make us arseholes.
