he's doing what he's expected to do. do we now give out meet and greet prizes for band members doing just exactly what we expected them to do? don't get me wrong - ilan is fab, but pics of drums getting a battering isn't exactly earth shattering. I don't know what I want. but soundchecks to gigs I'm not getting to - lovely. I'm sure. beat out that rhythm on a drum.
Ilan~ YOU ROCK!! Your hair is fucking fantastic dude!!! You have got it going on behind those drums kid, thats for sure!! And your "do" totally amused me while your beat rocked my world at Fiddlers~ Thank-You!!!

Thanks to Sheridan for signing my ticket and having the opportunity to tell him that his art designs and pictures are amazing. It was a great run. It was a GREAT FUCKEN SHOW!

after seeing these videos...and all this scary "wave goodbye" statement....i wish i could go to PA tommorrow, which is totally possible, only about 1- 1/2 hours away, But before I seriously make plans, does NIN.com have any tickets left to sell? any unused scratch lying around? hehhehe. Venue doesn't have much left but down yonder..heheh. oh well, hope to get there anyways. Probably just go and try to pick some up there, sometimes good seats are released day of show. home-CONCERT-home-CONCERT....no brainer hahah.

Best of luck to all of you boys in the future with what ever it is you are going to pursue. I think i speak for everyone of us NIN heads when i say if this is really goodbye to NIN we are going to fucking miss you!!! Thank you for being so much more than a rock band/rockstar/typical american band to us... You have shared your heart, soul and mind with us for 20 years plus and have held true to your ART in an industry that is so quick to push art/individuality to the wayside. THANK YOU!!!

Mr. Reznor I hope this is not the last we will be hearing from you my dear friend... You are a fantastic inspiration as an artist/american/musician/business man but at the same time no one deserves to disappear from it all more than you... by the looks/sounds of it you have given us your blood sweat and tears over the past few years and it has been an honor.

PS Chicago show was the best concert i have ever been to and that is quite a feat having seen you 3 times previous. Not much of a light/stage show just all out in your face rockin, fuckin loved it and the leather jacket!!

peace boys
love you!

They can all be downloaded, but Vimeo is limiting downloads on ALL videos to 100 every 24 hours to preserve their bandwidth.

You can download them, you just have to time it right, or wait until the initial rush to download is over.

I am still recovering from an intense, incredible NIN weekend! We first caught the wave goodbye show in Atlanta and while driving home we decided we had to see more. We flew up from New Orleans for the Chicago show and watched the show from the second row in the pit. Intestines got squished but it was perfect and got some great pics as well. Then we went to Indianapolis for the meet and greet. Justin was super nice, Ilan was quiet and I guess Robin was sick in bed. I would have liked more time with Trent to talk about his years in New Orleans, meeting Joel Peter Witkin etc. but I was toward the end of the line of around 300 people. I think by the time they finished meeting us all and taking photos it was 30 minutes before the show. Sound check was beautiful- hearing Trent's voice and the music- my eyes actually teared up. Got to watch part of the show from the stage - Awesome. Then we flew to Detroit for the Sunday show. My favorite quote from Trent happened in Detroit. Something like "This music is dark. It was written in the dark To be played in the dark, and fucked to in the dark! But we have this spotlight (the sun) on us here -it is weird." I am definitely sad to think this could be the last tour. We are enertaining the idea of catching NIN one more time in Europe. They aren't really going to end the 20 years in Taiwan? Doesn't seem right. Street Sweeper Social Club has the same energy and umph as Rage Against the Machine and Jane's puts on a great show. Overall WOW weekend.

VERY COOL! The lighting is really awesome this tour.

06/09/09 8:00 PM

I thought the lighting was really cool during "Reptile" (the flashing green lights) but the lighting during "Survivalism" is insanely awesome. It's so awesome it's burned into your cornea for a week or two.

Oh man, I think you're right! That's disappointing. The only soundcheck I went to was eerie. Besides the band, it was deathly quiet.
