It was my first NIN gig and I already have to wave goodbye, 2009! ;_; It shat rain and I'm currently dying with the flu, but it was totally worth it. I just hope Trent didn't catch a cold or something. He was soaked the whole show with steam clouds rising off of him. By the end he was wearing an old man's coat cause he looked freezing. I felt sad when it was over, I didn't want it to end knowing it was probably their final performance ever in Ireland. I waved goodbye to Trent afterwards ;_; Oh haha, and I kept saying to myself "Please don't be a dream!". I was hoping not to wake up suddenly and realise it was all just a dream. I was only one person from the front directly in front of trent. I swear my heart was pounding through that entire show, it was the highlight of my year. I just keep saying to myself that it can't be over. I'm thinking about asking my parents to give me money to go to one of the NY or LA gigs instead of the big 21st birthday party I'm supposed to be having. It's worth it. The sheer depth of emotion on his face during each song was captivating, he looked so intense. I've honestly never seen a performance like that before. Im so grateful to have had the chance.
