Thank you for the bright pic of the Aragon Ballroom sign after the last Chicago show. I like the Picnic illustration and look forward to the Broken Robot Girls continuation. I had a marvelous time Trent, Ilan, Justin, and Robin. Amazing energy and very orgasmic. Please post some more pics of these last upcoming shows. I wish I could have followed you to California. Great performance Peter and keep it up and best of wishes on the last four shows. Hmm!

I agree they are VERY cool Rob. This is gonna sound dorkey (surprise) but maybe you'll understand what I'm trying to say without the proper technical verbage...I love the way you captured the contrasts in the various gray tones with the white spotlights. It gives everything a kinda washed out Rembranty quality...but it's still really cool. Everytime I think there couldn't possibly be another way to shoot these you come up with another subtle way of looking at it, with the change of angle or shutter speed, and it takes it off in a whole new direction. That is a true gift, kinda like painting with a camera. I'm not saying your Ansel Adams but what you did here has those same qualities (The shades of gray) YET you do it in color which is even more amazing.

Gary Numan, the gentleman in one of the pics above playing with Trent & Co., is one of the pioneers of New Wave and Cars is one of his top hits (this is a most awesome video of him with NIN BTW - EVEN MORE JEALOUS NOW). If you've heard the song there is a distinct almost staccato synth melody and that is what I was vainly attempting to sing with do de doo doos... SORRY (I tend to have a nutty dorky sense of humor a majority of the time and I type as I speak/sing. I was taught you should always write as if you were talking to someone so...I guess if you don't know someone that makes it hard to understand what they're saying sometimes and the person looks a little looney when really they aren't. They're just being themselves in all their dorkiness). But you can hear a lot of his and Mr. Murphy's influences in the way Trent plays his keyboards and sings respectively. (BTW if you've never heard Mr. Numan I would suggest a really cool album of his that came out on 2008 called Replicas. IT'S AWESOME. It has all of his more "known" music like Are friends Electric etc it's really cool (It also contains a lot of "B" (Album) sides) Something else I just read when I was writing this which is most cool (I look up albums I like to make sure I'm spelling the title correctly - it's a respect thing with me, sorry) Mr. Numan wanted to be a pilot when he was younger and married a member of his fanbase...ROFL SO I stand corrected I guess that can happen from time to time When it comes to love, guess you really just NEVA KNOW do ya?!
