Walmart only sells crap anyway. Not working with them shows that you hold higher standards. That's admirable. I don't know what the hell Apple's problem is. Back in the day I went to school for awhile to work with MACs, (this was during the time frame when a G4 processor was REALLY high-speed) and I learned that a lot of Apple products are built so they can be fucked with. Even the programmers that work for Apple steal and cheat, that's just computer nature. They work loopholes into the products so you can work around the standard rules. Not that I really have any desire to stand up for a major corporation, but we do live in a Capitalist society. Whether we like it or not, that's the way it is. Everyone is trying to make a buck, and I know you have very strong feelings about this. In no way am I saying you should compromise your beliefs, but I do know that Apple is two-faced. They show the world what image they want them to see (the one that makes money), but in real life they are just as sneaky as everyone else. Earlier in the thread I saw that someone suggested removing the "offensive" material until the app got approved, then putting it back in later. Of course, now you'd have to be careful how exactly you did that, since it's already been posted here, you could have a lawsuit on your hands, but, if done correctly, that might be the best way. Or you could say "fuck 'em," stand your ground, and move on. Personally, I like Apple. I'm a total MAC snob. They might be shady, but they sell quality products. Better than PC anyway.
Oh yeah- you said you get spam in your MAC email? That's crazy. I never get spam in my MAC account. Sounds like someone's been putting your address on mailing lists. I'd look into that if I were you. Maybe I just have a different kind of account. As much as those accounts cost though, you'd think you wouldn't have to worry about spam.
Well, good luck. I'm sure you'll figure something out. You always do.
