As said before I think that tv and mag advertising wins by a landslide against internet ads. Advertising should be helpful, informative, appealing and/or entertaining at its very least and let's face it, it is not as of yet on web sites because it is not quite creative. Most campaigns on the net are based on broader, more conventional ones. But give it some room to breathe and grow, it's still on baby stages: there's some really
creative stuff out there.
I find quite interesting that some of you don't mind to see "saving the rainforest" or "animal rescue" ads, and that's really cool, but surely you've got some more down-to-earth needs *too*. We're not in N Korea and here we have brands and stuff that you may find interesting to BUY or at least receive some info about, don't you? I presume users have the criteria to avoid buying AA clothes if they don't like 'em (how comes?) and to know that the fact that something pops up here doesn't necessarily mean any endorsement by NIN or Trent Reznor himself, right? I'm just guessing here.
And I know, clicking on shiny things *is* hard to avoid. But come on, we're not 4yo. Physically I mean.
