The text bunching up seems to be a bug that has existed on rare occasions before the implementation of the ads. Its not caused by it, but it may possibly have aggervated it. I'm sure it will get hammered out at some point.
As far as the "ads" ......sorry Trent...I cant really see them as "ads" like as Digg or say Myspace has....these are links to your merchandise...relevant and very nice quality shit...no one could/should complain.
If it goes beyond that...eh....that's the cost of bandwidth/maintenance/Development for social media sites these days, it happens, even to RockStars
