I think this is a really great thing that you guys are doing, and I hope Eric gets his heart. My dad's a doctor, and I explained the situation to him, and he said that unfortunately, with the way everything is set up with insurance - and with the Medicare/Medicaid rules - that the best bet the kid has is to raise the money to just pay for the entire transplant himself. He says it's wrong, but that's how the system is set up.

I too have purchased the $300 package for Sasquatch. I have not received any info other than the original email receipt when I placed the order Wednesday night. HOWEVER, the first post of this thread says: "These offers apply to the HEADLINING (read: NON-FESTIVAL) shows in the rest of the world." Non-festival... that means Sasquatch, right? I want this to happen as much as you guys do....but I'm also trying to accept the fact that it's probably not going to.

American festivals such as Sasquatch), but NOT for festivals that are in other countries. That's how I interpreted it. Trust me, I saw "non-festival" and had a mini-heart attack initially but then I read more carefully and I'm pretty sure that's what it means. Also, since he posted "NO MORE DONATIONS CAN BE ACCEPTED FOR THE FOLLOWING DATES * 5.21.09 SANTA BARBARA, CA [SANTA BARBARA BOWL] * 5.22.09 MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA [SHORELINE AMPHITHEATRE] * 5.24.09 GEORGE, WA [THE GORGE - SASQUATCH FESTIVAL] " it implies that they are indeed doing the offers for these dates, just that they are already full or something. | |
