I did the $1,200 for the show in Toronto, so if I decide to hang out backstage, can I get an autograph after the show too?

Depends on if any of the guys decide to show up after the show. Some usually do but there is no guarantee as to who you will run into.

No, there are no such thing as an @nin.com email for members. You can receive PMs under your user name and that's it.

Awesome photos, you guys! I'm getting more and more excited for my experience by the hour! I'm also curious about video. I have a little Flip video camera that takes pretty nice quality video. Not HD, but decent TV quality, and I'd like to document the soundcheck/M&G as well as everything else that happens backstage as much as possible. I'm assuming since they're letting them into the shows that they'll let them backstage, but I guess we'll find out. Should be a really great time!

My daughter has taken her Flip to NIN shows. However, we did not film backstage when we met Trent/band (not a VIP event)...we felt that would be awkward since it was a one on one situation.

Yeah, if it wasn't a VIP event, I could see that being somewhat awkward. I don't know that this really would be, though. It'd probably be a play-it-by-ear situation. There's a couple things my husband wants me to ask Trent, and it would be nice if I could get those Q&A's on tape for him since he's not coming with me. Just that sort of thing.

Your official response is always from Trent on the forum threads. I just got
confirmation that Trent is working on arranging something for the fans who
have already donated. My understanding is you will be covered, but that's all
I am able to confirm.

Watch your email for further details that will be sent prior to the show.

Enjoy the show!
Thank you SOOOO much for posting this!!!! YAYYYY!!!

Soundcheck times for Denver yet?

05/24/09 12:06 AM

Me and my buddy will be joining the other vips for Chicago. See you there! Am I the only one that is nervous as hell?!?

Thank you to Trent and everyone else involved who is allowing this to happen!

Anymore Sasquatch updates? I got an email saying they are working on it... But no details!!! Not sure what time to show up?

05/24/09 12:56 AM

Anyone else donate for the 5/27 Kansas City Starlight Theater show?

A good friend of mine and I are splitting the $1000 donation.. It's a pretty good chunk of cash, but it's for a great cause and it is terrible to see someone suffer because of bullshit insurance bureaucracy..

It's also the 'Wave Goodbye' tour, it'll be a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet and hang with Trent and Co.. Many Many props and thank yous to Trent and Co. for supporting Eric and his cause.. and opening up this kind of opportunity to those of us with the ability to give..

*patiently waiting for more details*

I am a lucky $1000 VIP'r, and want to get my Deluxe ($75 one, not the $300 already signed edition) Ghosts I-IV box set signed. I'm assuming this won't be a problem. However,

A: Are there any specific guidelines on what/will not/how many things can be signed? I'm not bringing every piece of matter that says "NIN" on it, but I just want to make sure. I'd also like to bring my Nightwatchmen CD for Tom to sign as well.

B: When we have our items signed, will we have a place to put them during the dinner/show(s)? My Ghosts set is larger than say, the average CD, and while I don't mind carrying it around with me all night, I would like to know beforehand.

C: This is more directed at those who have already done the M&G--can you have your items personalized, or do they just sign them? Not an issue at all either way, but I was curious.

D: Will we have an opportunity to bounce back and forth between our seats, or will we have to remain "backstage" throughout the show(s)? Again, I am more than happy to stay on the side of the stage, but my actual seats (yes, KC Starlight, no pit) are 2nd row center, hardly bad and $150.00 each.

Thank you.

A. One item per person
B. Bring a bag or pants with deep pockets to keep it secure
C. Maybe but probably not. Depends on how much time they have and how many other guests are in attendance
D. More than likely not because of security issues.

Trent,

I've been amazed by your work and your persona for years. Every time you released a new record it always had something new and unexpected. As much as I love your music, I always thought you were numb to the world. Now, you've done the unexpected unexpected unexpected. I see a side of you I'm glad to know exist. For all the lyrics I belted out from Downward Spiral that connected me to the music, I now see a connection to the humanity behind it. This tremendous act takes me from admiring your music to also admiring you as person. Now, I have two things to live up to.

Anything that's in Europe and NIN are headlining (not festival based) is cool.

My feedback from NIN support was to do with a UK show, but, I really wouldn't worry. If in doubt, drop them an email before you purchase anything.

support@help.nin.com they have been really helpful, and quick with feedback.

Have you already purchase anything for the european shows? I have bought a $300 pass for the show in Paris, I hope everything is gonna be fine. When I read that the meet and greet would be also possible in the rest of the world, I rushed to buy a pass, without checking anything.

I'd like to buy the $300 pass for the Amsterdam show but I need someone to go with. None of my friends have the money.
