For the $300 donors do we receive any kind of laminated pass for the MAG? I'd love something of the sort for a souvenir. Just curious. Also, still waiting on if anyone knows if I need to bring my confirmation email to gain entry. I think I should just in case. And if this was answered somewhere already or on the first post or anywhere else I have missed please cut me some slack. My fragile anticipatory psyche just cannot handle any cyber condemnations and I fear I will be brought to knees and tears if I am chastised for what will undoubtedly be labeled as my personal ignorance.

Oh, message board, why must you be so very hostile?

Would anyone want split the $300 option for the Mansfield, MA show?

As far as I know, you do not get any sort of pass for $300, only $1000 and it's a sticker pass. I would bring your confirmation email/receipt just in case your name is not on the list. That happened to me, had a list mix-up, but luckily I could retrieve the receipt on my phone.

05/25/09 3:35 PM

Well thank you JessicaSarahS. Yeah, I don't need any list mix-ups. That happened to me once when I won a trip to see Manson play at some NYC club and I almost missed the show (which was wretched, by the way). Thank you for your help.

Oh, and I don't have one of them smarty-pants phones that can look up the interweb and all of it's dirty coded secrets of email and whatnot. Goddamn economy and pricey gadgets!

Ok, I do have Blackberry. I just can't afford the bells and whistles.

I don't know if this has been posted. I had emailed support to inquire about changing my donation...due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to possibly change it from $1K to $300...I felt like a shitbag for thinking it...anyways, at the end of the day, I kept it @ $1K and after a few very prompt replies from support, they confirmed that my donation would not be changed and:

"You will be contacted by email closer to the date of the show. Normally you
will need to arrive early, and would go to the venue box office. Make sure to
bring a printed copy of your receipt and photo ID. Arrival time can vary based
on venue and sound check times.

We do not need your guests name at this time, the itinerary will be held under
the name you provided at purchase time for you and your guest.

We thank you for your support and hope to see you at the show."

Hope this helps everyone wondering about followups and whatnot.

TRENT PLEASE HELP!

MY BUDDY AND I WERE ABLE TO COME UP WITH ENOUGH SCRATCH TO GET THE TWO OF US IN FOR THE $300. I GOT TWO TICKETS TO BE WAITING AT WILL CALL FOR THE SHOW. IF MY BUDDY AND I GO TO THE SOUNDCHECK I HEAR WE CAN'T GET BACK OUT, WHICH WOULD MEAN MY BROTHER CAN'T GET HIS TICKET??

I COULDN'T COME UP WITH ENOUGH MONEY TO GET HIM TO THE SOUNDCHECK AND GOD KNOWS HE DOESN'T HAVE IT EITHER SINCE HE'S WORKING ON A HOMELAND SECURITY SALARY (WHICH IS VERY WEAK). IT'S HIS FIRST CONCERT EVER AND I'M WORRIED I MAY EITHER NOT BE ABLE TO MEET YOU OR HE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO GET HIS TICKET? IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO SOLVE THIS?? BY THE WAY.... THIS IS REALLY COOL OF YOU TO BE DOING THIS MEET AND GREET. I'VE BEEN A HARDCORE FAN SINCE PRETTY HATE MACHINE WHEN IT CAME ON A BLACK TAPE! I'VE BEEN WANTING TO MEET YOU SINCE THEN.... REALLY COOL OF YOU TO DO THIS. PLUS IT'S FOR A GREAT CAUSE!!!!

HEADS UP! YOUR CAPS LOCK KEY IS BROKEN OR YOUR SHIFT KEY IS STUCK.

Anyways, assuming that the venue staff in the will call booth aren't total dickholes, they should allow you to leave 1 of the 2 tickets you purchased in an envelope with your brother's name on it. I've been able to leave tickets for other people in a similar situation.

The point may be moot, however, as I've heard that the soundcheck people get dumped back out into the line after they've had their soundcheck/m&g.

05/25/09 6:41 PM

Teenyman, please turn off all the caps.

Are you saying that the tix are in your name, and you will already be inside enjoying the VIP package when your brother gets there? Can he not get there earlier so you can hand him his ticket?

I doubt TR is gonna help you with this one. That's just something you have to plan. Get the tickets out and have a friend sit there to wait for your brother. Something.

I'm guessing that for Noblesville, IN 5:30-6:00 means NIN soundcheck and 6:00-6:30 means SSSC soundcheck and 6:30 means doors. It's the only one without labels, though, it seems. So stoked. The $300 package is all I could afford, but I'm glad I could help out and treat myself to visit rock gods all at once.

Also, in the original note, Trent mentions photos and autographs to the $1,000 and $1,200 packages, but neglects mentioning it in the $300 package. However, in the more detailed note (that we are commenting on now) it clusters all three packages together and says photos and autographs will be available before it splits the $300 group away. Does anyone know if the $300 package owners are allowed to get pictures?

I haven't read all the pages in this thread so I am sorry if this is a repeat question. Trent said the tickets for the $1000 are limited. Has it been clarified as to how many there are?

05/25/09 9:09 PM

Looking to possibly purchase and split the 1k package for Chicago. Send a PM this way if interested.

05/25/09 10:09 PM

What are we expected to bring to the show besides our ticket? All I received was an email containing the paypal receipt, which hardly seems like it'd be enough. Is there just a list of names of people who ordered a VIP package?

If we wish to upgrade to the $1,000 package, are we able to simply pay the difference? I can bring $700 in cash tomorrow.

And will the fact that somebody else's name is on my ticket impair my VIP deal? I bought my ticket through somebody else.

05/25/09 10:12 PM

I missed out... I live in Perth, WA... I'd pay $2000, I wonder if I can meet him and his crew somewhere else...? maybe... the Singapore show if I get off my ass and get a passport...? Sigh... the things you make me do Trent...

05/25/09 10:22 PM

Well I'm disappointed to see that there's no soundcheck at the Kansas City show on Wednesday, but it's not the end of the world.

I'm still wondering: It says doors open at 6. Is that the earliest I'd have to show up or will $1000 paying VIPs be allowed in earlier?

05/25/09 10:30 PM

where is the forum for the people who got tickets on twitter? i have a couple of questions.. i heard that people who got backstage passes on twitter got fucked over..
and trent said he was gonna make it right..

i got them and im worried i will be screwed too..
anyone have any success with passes who won on twitter?

05/25/09 10:54 PM

I know in the main post it states this, but can I get a confirmation that people with a $300 donation and pre-sale tickets get to be let in after the m/g and are not placed at the end of the line?

Also, how are the pre-sale ticket holders let in early? Are there two lines or do they just announce that they are letting the pre-sale ticket holders in and then I can just pass the regular ticket holders?

05/25/09 11:10 PM

diablo75 - Be there much earlier. Doors at 6 is for everyone to go in. We are all getting there at about 2-3.

brian - There are two lines, yes. The tickets are entirely different, and pre-sale gets in first.

05/26/09 12:19 AM

for the $300 donators who also have the pre-sale tickets were you allowed into the venue before the rest of the presale line after the meet a greet or did you have to go back out and go to the end of the presale line i'm just curious i'm getting the $300 package and have a GA pre sale ticket and was just curious?

05/26/09 12:35 AM

rockchick - It goes like this:

Pre-sale
VIP packages
Everyone else

So to answer your question, no. You are in between two groups.

Was this the actual order from your own experience? I'm not challenging you or anything (it's irritatingly hard to convey tone properly online, hence the disclaimer), but I'm just curious because Trent's answer from the first page is as follows:
trent_reznor posted:
At this point, the $300 people will be escorted back to the venue after the nin.com pre-sale people are allowed in but before the general public. If you are a $300 donator AND a nin.com pre-sale person, yes, you can go early.
...that makes it sound like the $300 donators that happen to also be presalers still go in with presale, but I don't know how that works in practice (I mean, to my knowledge there has yet to be a show with presale GA since the initial Santa Barbara dramafest, but I've been wrong before).
